Early leaving C#nts

If you was at Twente for the full game!!! you would of notice many gooners leaving in there hoardes in the 80th minute! Now this gets on my goat especially as you see a team getting trounced by us and there fans remaining to the end!!
Last season our Away fans done us proud staying at the 4-0 Man USA game and the 5-1 Scum (it didnt happen) but yet these people cant stay to watch 90 minutes!!
I'm sorry no actually I'm not sorry if your one of those who left early!
Its a disgrace we play for 90+ minutes! if you went to see Hellboy 2 for instance would you leave before the end??

If you live out in the subborbs I dont care dont go to a evening game let someone else take it of your hands who can wait the full 45+ minutes for a beer, But I don't think its anything to do with a Evening kick offs at all! We saw it last season at 12.45 kick offs 3 o'clock kick offs!!
It shows you have no pride in your team and all you want to do is get home to talk about 75 minutes off football to your mates down the pub
or maybe half of them are former rugby fans and believe games finish in 80 minutes either way! I detest these people almost as much as Spud fans!

if any ELC's want to put there side accross and can give me a valid reason why they leave early then do so ( i cant see one)

At the end of the day we all hate it,and it fucks us all off. But in hindsight were not going to change it,it wont be changed and it cant be changed. People pay there money,so they leave early the crunts are entitled to do it. Arsenal dont give 2 shits because for 1. Its money and that's all they want and 2. The more people that leave early the less work stewards do in getting people out.

3pm Saturdays - yes, I know, thats the majority of matches.

We live in Gloucestershire, OH is expected to go to work on Saturday evenings when he gets home. We have a 40 minutes-ish tube ride ahead of us and then a one and a half hour train journey, plus whatever queueing time for the tube.

Neither he or I would leave early - 3 or 4 minutes early - were it not for this.

Sorry, I didn't want to comment on this thread further, but I feel JOC has raised an interesting point.

3 or 4 minutes - to me - doesn't make you "an early leaver". When I used to go to games with my dad (10yrs ago) we would watch the 3 pm match, and then have to be at Euston for the 5:35pm train....that's about 40mins to get from the game to Euston.

We would leave our seats on 89/90mins and watch the stoppage time on the tv's in the north bank...then jog up to Finsbury park tube.

What I think Smoothy - and many others - are pissed off about are EARLY leavers i.e. after 80mins or so.

There's a big difference, Joy of Cesc, and you have nothing to be ashamed of...well, apart from living in Gloucester, when Bristol is far better

These days I travel by National Express, so I can watch the full match, and relax a little, before heading up to the tube in my own time

To be honest i can understand early leavers in a game in which is long over.. makes it easyier for everyone to get out with out too much waiting around..

However i cant understand it if the result is still very much in the balance. such as West brom on the opening day, i couldnt understand why people where leaving before the end..

I HAVE to leave with 5 minutes to in order to:

* RUN to Finsbury Park Tube Station. Whilst doing that, I need to beat the police before they block the roads as there are too many people there. I then rush down onto the tube and get off at Victoria.

I then have about 5 minutes to get on the LAST TRAIN HOME. No food or drink on the way either or on the train for that matter. If I got some food, I would miss the train and the closet I could get back to home would be Havant or Worthing which is about 20 miles away.

I had the choice to whether I went last night. I chose to go as I wanted to see The Arsenal very much so. But in order to do so, I needed to leave early in order to get home that night/early morning.

Yes I was pissed off about missing early (and obviously a goal was going to go in) but all I can say that at least I went. Unlike ALOT of golds who were missing last night. And you say why didnt you flog your ticket onto someone who wanted to watch the whole 90 minutes.... NO!

I knew alot of people who had a/multiple spares for last nights game. BUT... none were sold. Many reasons for this... The rush to get the last train home? FUCK IT. They couldnt afford it, couldnt be bothered or/and they would rather spend their money on a more important game such as this weekends game.

You shouldnt blame ALL early leavers as some (like me) have a very very valid excuse. You should really be talking to the people who do it every game - no matter what time or day etc. These people are total wastemen and I can't find a reason on why to spend £1000+ on something they won't 'fully use(or watch in this case)'.

We wish - we really do - that we could stay to the end of each and every match. We wish we could tell his boss to go about his business without OH on Saturday nights, but sadly, its not financially possible.

Yes, we have missed last minute goals, but we've cheered just as loudly crossing the bridge on the way to Arsenal tube station as we would have done if we'd been inside the stadium.

I will be at Saturdays game with my son (late start makes this one impossible for hubby), and we will be there until the end.
