Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Crisp-doped midlanders need only 9 points to secure the title. I wonder how Arsene will spin it so that he can take credit for their triumph?
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
We have a manager who said recently that he had kept the club successful in his 20 years here. Going 9 years without a trophy, and 12 years without a league title(also no top two finishes since 2005) is keeping us successful We are the only club who will achieve sweet fuck all this season, yet pretend we have had a successful season because we finished in the top four.Ikechukwu1 wrote:Are our fans celebrating being 13 points behind Ranieri's Leicester yet?
Isn't it hilarious seeing that Leicester team with an 11 that cost less than Sanchez alone, giving a lesson in how to perform under pressure in a title race. They are doing this, with average journeymen players like Drinkwater, Vardy and Morgan. Contrast with the £193m wage bill Wenker FC, and it's abundantly clear what the problem is.
Thankfully, Lord A-hole "built the club"

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Chavs failed v Leicester and they sacked their manager.
Citeh manager failed v Leicester and paid with his job.
ManYoo have failed v Leicester and LVG will pay with his job.
Arsenal? Well I think this season is tbf ultimate example that no matter what the situation: oil money, crisp money, ALL 4 big clubs totally imploding, hundreds of millions in the bank...Wenker WILL find a way to fail. He will always find a way to fail. He is a Specialist in Failure, Mourinho was spot on.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If Man Utd do everyone a favour and win today, this year could be the end of Groundhog season. I dont think the form or spirit is there in the squad to sustain a 4th place challenge from Man Utd.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Krone will be happy with Top 4, no ambition or accountability to achieve anything else, who is to question "the man who built the club"
Only will change when Wenker goes, hoping that is 2017, but think he will be offered an extended contract, just up to him if he agrees

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Totally agree mate but Wenker will spin it (and be allowed to spin it) that Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool also finished a country mile behind them. Finishing fourth will be mission accomplished for him and the wig wearing parasite.donaldo71 wrote:If finishing a country mile behind Leicester cant get rid of our specialist in failure nothing will.
The only thing that will finish Wenker is when enough of us stop moaning on here and start giving him a pasting at the ground. We could have him out by the end of the season if we tried but let's be honest - we're pretty pathetic at organising serious protests aren't we??

Needs a clear coordinated message being sent out...WENGER OUT....not all this ambiguous nonsense....Au revoir..thanks for the memories.....Arsene FC...etcJumpers For Goalposts wrote:Totally agree mate but Wenker will spin it (and be allowed to spin it) that Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool also finished a country mile behind them. And he knows the inner workings of Arsenal and so is in an even more informed position to be able to judge...
I Like it - About Time someone from the Invincibles stood up and told it like it is.....

Great to see Petit saying it! The fans should build on this every hand they get they should reach out for, but just can't see anything happening at Emirates what a fucking sad place

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Oh but surely Petit must have an agenda of some kind? Maybe bitter at Wenger not putting up more of a fight to keep him or signing him again once he left Barca.

The media will play/listen to this more than if any of us say the same thing (or worse! ).

Did you see Everton fans yesterday. Huge signs draped over the hoardings at Watford - MARTINEZ OUT!! Not us though, I cannot think of a club anywhere in the world that would put up with the shit we do, it's like we've been brainwashed!!Jumpers For Goalposts wrote:Totally agree mate but Wenker will spin it (and be allowed to spin it) that Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Liverpool also finished a country mile behind them. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I noticed a couple of minutes before Carroll scored their first, there was a close up on Welbeck when he nearly made a mug of Adrian.Offside wrote:When Carroll equalised I just burst out laughing. 2-0 up after 43 minutes, 2-2 at half-time.
Who'd have thought West Ham would hit high balls to their 7ft tall striker? I've managed "zero games" but I could have told you that.
The ball went out for a goal kick but Welbeck stuck his tongue out cheekily to the home fans behind the goal.
I thought it was too early to start thinking the game was done, and giving them stick.
Sure enough it all went pear shaped.
Not blaming Welbeck, but maybe the general complacency in the team has got into him.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Same as last week against Watford when Ozil and someone else played about 6 one-twos in a row. Taking the piss. Podolski did exactly the same thing a couple of years back in the champs league. Loser mentality all the way...
