We should have a separate thread really on how the ex players are getting onclockender1 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:06 pmEddie got the last minute winner for dirty leeds - his first championship goal.

Jenkinson and Gibbs have found their level in the Championship (both got booked this evening ) with Forest and West Brom
Walcott & Iwobi don’t seem to play for Everton
Has Ramsey played for Juve yet ?

And for Dirty Leeds. Couldn't we have sent him to any other Championahip club? Fulham perhaps?clockender1 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 9:06 pmEddie got the last minute winner for dirty leeds - his first championship goal.

On a positive - at least when he does return - he will have been well versed in how to leave his foot in and the art of kicking the opponents black & blue

but i will say this - the pressure is really on Leeds this year to go up. they were so close to going up last year and they had that whole spying controversy , so the pressure will be on Eddie every week to perform in front of big crowds ( and the largest away support on the planet in history ) , which as his parent club, is exactly what we want.
if he doesn't keep banging them in, they will drop him and to be fair - if he can't make it there, he's not going to make it for us is he ?
as much as i detest Leeds, if he ends up Championship top scorer and they go up, its not the worst thing for us.

Re: other matches this weekend
I wouldn't say that was necessarily true, 99% of players, when training and playing with better players will improve and play better than if they are in a lesser able or skilled squad/team. Nketiah looks very good already he simply needs game time to hone his skills whilst improving, also to bulk up physically as he does look quite slight for an attacker, mind you he is still only 20yrs of age, but showed far more ability than Iwobi, not that that's saying much.clockender1 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 1:46 pmyes - Brentford !Leyton Gooner wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 6:59 amAnd for Dirty Leeds. I'm sure he doesn't mind too much, seeing as he's bagging £400k a Week.StuartL wrote: ↑Thu Aug 22, 2019 7:09 pmThanks for posting that Ziegler -,was only a friendly, - what a horrendous kit Juve are in too

Everton lost to Villa 2-0. They had both Walcott and Iwobi on in the second half. Wouldn't wish that on anybody.......
£60 million we took off of them for those two
