After yesterday’s result, Liverpool’s single biggest achievement remains being the only team in history to get all English clubs banned from Europe.

Well, well, finally, an acknowledgement from a journalist who understands what a momentous achievement it was.
It will never happen again either.

Re: Happy Invincibles Day!
I've always thought it would never happen again but saw interviews with both Pires and Henry from a couple years back and they both reckon it deffo will happen again which I thought was odd. I certainly hope it never happens again but who knows......xisstential wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 5:05 amhttps://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footb ... ibles.html

A lot of athletes sometimes play down their achievements, putting on that cloak of humility, "hoping" their record gets broken etc, etc, so maybe we have to take what they said with a pinch of salt.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 7:27 amI've always thought it would never happen again but saw interviews with both Pires and Henry from a couple years back and they both reckon it deffo will happen again which I thought was odd. It was a momentous achievement, I myself cannot see it happening again. The drive to get up and go again, week in and week out must be immense.
Just ask our current squad, they'll explain the difficulties

They also hold the record for murdering the most oppo fans during a game.

One of their back 4 would get into our 2004 team, none of their midfield would make the bench much less the team, and would their strikers get in ahead of Bergkamp or Henry ? Would they fcuk

First reaction when I saw that story was fuck off Many, you were not part of that piece of history. Allison ahead of Lehmann and Van Dijk ahead of Kolo, maybe would be two that might get into the Invincibles.augie wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 12:17 pmAttention seeking whore or blatant jealousy - cant see any other reason for this bu.llshit article

Rubbish story filling pages when nothing else to put in them.

Pat Rice once said they "always had problems" with Petit.

Re: Happy Invincibles Day!
Interesting take on 'could our current side beat The Invincibles in a single match' - https://tribuna.com/en/arsenal/news/74f ... b66d2da12/ No chance probably but I would love to see that Lauren/Toure vs Aubamayang battle

Wouldn't amount to much Auba would hardly see much of the ball , our current midfield would get overrun.
