Re: Norwich charity cup winners 1919/20 A Sun April 28th KO 2pm
Woke up in the middle of the night and stupidly started thinking about this NLD... Fuck! Now I can't get back to sleep....I know playing on Sunday gives us a much needed extra days rest after beating the Racist Chavs, seeing as the Scum haven't played since the 13th when they were walloped 4 - nil by the Geordie wankers, but I do just want to get this game over and done with, my nerves & digestion can't handle it.
So FUCK-OFF You Swamp Dwelling Scum and Come ON You Mighty Gunners.

I’m hoping their long lay off works against them, nothing like a proper game to keep you match ready and sharp.OneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 2:46 am

We won their last season and I think we are a better team this season than a year ago, plus they don’t have Kane so it’s a glorious gunners victory for me

How hard will Spurs really try to beat City if it means it will help hand us the league?

Anyway it seems to be working again now

Not sure how I think we'll do today.
An early goal is always great for us so hopefully we can score in the first 10 mins to quieten the Mong's in the swamp a little bit.
Hopefully he'll play Martinelli because his speed could be vital.... This could be the game where he needs to step up, he owes us after a really poor season!
Come on Arsenal, don't let us down

A lot will depend on Villa , Self interest might come into it , but we should not start worrying about that until after today's lunchtime domestic.

Throwing in the towel would diminish their remaining Champions League hopes, and usually a 20% wage reduction for not being in it.
I’m pretty sure the fans wouldn’t want to help us to a title, players should, note should, always want to win for themselves.

Let me put it this way, if thousest will allow
Is it me or as the games come and go (just like Life!) as we progress through the Season, the games and their Importance just get more and more pronounced, the tension increasing with both Dread and Hope in Equal Measure.. Those Spectres of Expectation and Disappointment Haunt us as the season moves towards its Climax (Ooooh! Missus! ) Especially after last years seriously unpleasant Belly Flop into the sea of failure and recorded obscurity... when indeed the 'Message in The Bottle' read 'We Bottled It' ... BUT !! We have learnt much from that sharp and unpleasant lesson... We are a Very Different Beast to what we were this time last year! Yes there are still flaws (there always will be or what indeed is the point of it all!?) Also the occasional mistake or 'close thing' when the sphincter tightens and the old proverbial bottom 'squeaks'...
BUT This Time it is Writ Bright in the Lofty Stars; and Upon The Tablet Of Stone upon which was written at our commencement
"We Are THE Arsenal" and on this occasion ( Just as Henry and His Beleaguered Men Smashed the French on St Crispin's Day in 1415) So We Too Shall Smash These Swamp Dwelling Ball Bags.
So One and All Bless Thyself in Thine Own Manner and Let Us Go Forth To Battle And So "VICTORY' !!!!
