Keown And Bergkamp.

we need Keown back to coach the defense again (he did it really well not too long ago.). and DB would be a great replacment for Pat Rice (if the rumours are true about his leaving.)

Weneger needs to not only look at his squads shortcomings this season. but also his. We all know he is a great man manager, and attacking creative taction. he needs to accept we need some one to help him out with his weakness, defense.

and DB as assistant? Wow that would be awsome!

Hasn't Keown already said he wants to focus on his media career?

Maybe Keown would do a decent job but why would Bergkamp be awesome? Hasnt he been part of the Ajax backroom team the same Ajax that has had its worse finish in a long time sacking Van Basten as coach along the way? The same goes for players as coaches bring in the right people with the right amount of experience not just old boys who have massive links with the club

I agree with the above.....new number 2 desperately needed.............some that insist on keeping Pat Rice need their heads testing.............Legend and all that but things move on.

We need a real number 2, not an ex arsenal player. We need someone that will offer us something different tacticly than wenger.

Wenger is not always right, we need someone that will tell him.

Dennis is the strikers' coach and Ajax have scored the most goals 74 in the league but have the worst defensive record of the top 4 conceeding 41.

Btw Ajax have a younger squad than we do and have a frontline of 20-24yr olds.

Correct

Just because they were great players(ie Adams,Bergkamp) does not make them great coaches.
As has been said before we need someone who is not afraid to tell Wenger he is wrong. But if Wenger makes the appointment that aint going to happen :banghead:

So why would Bergkamp be awesome as a number 2 then? He has NO experience of that role
