In the last transfer window the Brazilian Fernando was frequently mentioned and it appears that his contract with porto expires next summer - he is a tall physical defensive midfielder and from what I have seen of him he looks a really good player but now that he would be available on the cheap he should def be a viable signing

Diego Costa would be great but would he leave a team joint top of la liga, although Juan Mata on the brink of joining athletico Madrid on loan might help.

I must admit that your predictions on here are usually very good but I think that somehow this month we WILL get someone even if it is just on a loan basis
