Dortmund away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know other teams get injuries but it seems Arsenal play each season with up to half their squad on the sick bed.

Rumors that AW plans to have Diaby fill in as right back. Apparently he's been telling AW for years: "Don't worry, I'll be right back"

Compliments of Twitter.

Reus, Sahin, Mkhitaryan, and Hummels all out.

Very confident about this, we'll get at least a draw.

Here's hoping we can replicate our form from the away game against them last year.

With their injuries I think we'll sneak a 2-1. :barscarf:

It is criminal that Bellerin is going to be tested in his first full start in Europe.

Even more criminal that instead of playing an ultra-cautious 5-4-1 formation we will set up to allow an inexperienced FB to bum forward against one of the best counterattacking teams in Europe.

I don't care how many players they've lost. We should play this game like fecking Maureen. Park the bus and then use Welbeck and Sanchez's speed.

But we won't.

3-1 loss.

Welcome back to Europe. All the fans going, enjoy the beer as that's all we'll get from this trip
trip.

Will be interesting to see the tactics - or lackof (Wenger) - employed by both clubs seeing as we now know each other so well.

Good morning all from Dortmund. To answer the Q. The main square outside Wenkers bar is where everyone is. The fountain is already a massive bubble bath :D

As for the game having met with the locals last night they are not confident at all. Up to 9 first team players out and would be happy for a draw.

Hope you early birds got your flights out and not stuck in fog. It's a nice sunny day here. UTA
