Newcaste away pubs

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Where are people drinking in Newcastle on Saturday?. Or does any one know of any good away pubs who have been before?

Is as just informed of a Blue Velvet. Looks more of an after party instead of morning beer session.

Think I'll do the usual and just grab a Wetherspoons!

Last year we went in the The Bodega. Mix of home and away fans and a pretty decent pub.

This year a group of us who are going up the night before are heading to O'Neills opposite Newcastle Central station (Now called The Victoria i think) to meet up with the lads getting the train.

a really good pub which home fans use is Tilly's on Westgate rd, i was in their after the game last year season and there was quite a few arsenal in shirts, very friendly fans, in fact I even went it the pub next to the Gallowgate before the game , the Strawberry and they were all fine

If you head over to Wallsend, they'll give you a nice warm welcome in any of the pubs there 8)
