Re: Does anyone here read Arseblog?

You should check out myarsenalopinion.blogspot.co.uk

No old flannel. Heartfelt criticism and opinion of the Club, Manager and players. Author tries to be balanced between supporting The Arsenal without getting attached about who currently represents it. Not everyone would agree with it, but it's ...

Re: Arsenal vs Spurs Wembley Club International 1988

My Dad took me and one of my brothers. Beating Spurs 4-0 was fantastic. I remember seeing Steve Bould for the first time and thinking he must be really old because of his lack of hair (I was 9 at the time). It was a great day out - I think it cost a fiver for kids to watch Arsenal, Tottenham, Milan ...

SteveO has made an excellent point: how many quality or very decent strikers, has Arsene Wenger produced? I am not even talking Michael Owen at Liverpool levels here, I am talking Danny Welbeck and Daniel Sturridge here? Anelka we nicked from PSG..

Ah, those proven talents.

I just think that leaving for the concourse was an excessive over-reaction, and has made the story all about you - which is the complete opposite purpose of said silence.

If somebody had killed my family or burned my house down, then I'd feel enough rage towards them not to have to endure their ...

Are you not judging him by that post? If that's how the geezer feels, and he's entitled to that opinion, then he can go stand in the concourse if he wants. Would you have taken part in a minutes silence for, say, another wrong un... Justin Fashanu?

Thanks SWL. The thought that I had been judge ...

Re: Minutes silence

We have all been at numerous games where a minutes silence has been asked for,all of which have been absolutely deserved, and, for the most part, respected. But has there been one,(or more) that has really stood out for you?
One of mine would have to be the minutes silence for George Best at Highbury ...

Holy shit, an Arsenal logo on your neck, that's hardcore

I've seen a bloke drinking down Holloway road with the (classic) cannon tattooed on his cheek. At least I assume it was a tattoo, he didn't look like the sort of person who'd wear facepaint

Used to see that guy a lot, home and ...

Can I assume that Amy Lawrence wasn't at the game today then? Chamakh worked his arse off today and linked the play. I agree he is seriously lacking in confidence, but he is the sort of guy that needs a partner alongside him. It strikes me that people simply want to find something to slate, even ...

I've just seen the goals and he looked like a pensioner on a zimmer-frame trying to get to Dzeko for the 6th goal.
