Re: other matches this weekend

Pools potential 49th game undefeated is against City. How does it work out like that.
Was thinking the same thing myself.

Always said the OT game was set up for our 50th.

Only difference this time will be the officials will be against the Manchester club

Re: VAR

Listen we can talk all day about the merits of the current manager, the former manager, Wenger, Gazidis, Stan or the man in the fucking moon but regardless of all that, what’s been going on all season long with us and officials is plain and simple CHEATING. I remember Luiz giving away a penalty at ...

Re: Sheffield United|Home|PL|Saturday 18th January|3pm KO

We should be sending the still of that image to the Premier League on Monday morning and asking them to explain why that wasn't given. We should be using evidence of other penalties given for similar incidents and asking them to tell us why that isn't a penalty. We should also make a complaint that...

Re: Arsenal slipping down the Financial League

Love seeing this......and all the while he is owner long may it continue for our only hope is that he sees his 'investment' going up in smoke and fucks off. Its not my money so I couldn't give a shit, and I support the team not the balance sheet. We will never get back into the CL with him as owner...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

Am I the only one who thinks that arteta has hung his captain out here ? https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11661/11906216/mikel-arteta-apologises-for-nasty-pierre-emerick-aubameyang-tackle-on-max-meyer The tackle doesn't look good in slow motion replay and I get that, but use the word "mistim...

Re: Palace (A) PL 11/01 @ 12:30

How can people think that was a red card!

It was am attempt to get the ball only the other player had faster feet.

Sure let's take tackling out of the game altogether so

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

I n fairness to Sokratis apart from getting overlapped a couple of times he did ok there and offered more fight and grit than any RB since Dicko. Tbh it looked to me like he was playing a flexible back 3 that could shift one player over to become a 4 with cover for the backs depending on which side...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?

I'd imagine something popped up in training that made him decide to change it slightly to accomodate the players that he would be starting with. For me (if that is what happened) that's a huge positive. Wenger and Dick (to a lesser extent) were obsessed with wedging players into a system that many ...

Re: What a shit decade (best/worst) merged thread

Lord Wenger managing us to 5 titles, 3 CL’s, 6 FA cups and a super cup while at the same time working tirelessly with president G Weah in his role as vice-president of Liberia defies belief. Does the man ever sleep? It was also a very moving as well as humorous moment when the Pope himself knelt be...

Re: ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

Chelsea going for dembele.

This is a player we should be going for as a replacement for lacazette or aubameyang.
