Oasis are awful live. But then oasis are just awful........
I know, and whenever I hear don't look back in anger on the radio it's time to change channels. One band I hated because of their crapness years ago who I've seen live on tv recently and noticed a massive improvement is Supergrass. Does ...

What does anyone think of this to be sung as is 20 year anniversary...

to the Ade tune

"It's up for grabs now,
It's up for grabs now.....
Thomas charging through the mid-field
It's up for grabs now!"

I would agree. Awful football. We went from two great league campaigns to being a cup team in the space of a year and a half... GG (I love what he did for the club still) had lost the plot by then and he had to go. Shame about the bung tarnishing his career though. And managing the spuds was even ...

Just remember before GG came back in 86 we hadn't won anything for 7 years! But played shit football too! When we won the league in 89 it was 1st time in 18 years... maybe that is why I feel I can be quite patient with this team. When I started supporting The Arsenal (about 1983/4, 1st game 1985/6 ...

Yeah I got me Wembley ticket today too - going on the Thursday... dunno why I bothered to be honest, not seen em play a decent concert since 1996 - oh actually Finsbury Park was alright in 2002 (I think it was 2002 anyway) mind you The Charlatans were on the bill so that is probably why it was so ...

Not sure I agree with you there fella but even if the the fanzine is more negative surely that only follows the less then positive state the club has been in.

Only four years ago we was Invincibles where as now we are a club short on money and devoid of real depth and quality in our playing squad ...

Why The Gooner so negative?

Hello to one and all! My name is Stu, I'm 31 and have been reading The Gooner since 1990-91 season (I think I bought the first colour issue as it goes). I have read the Gooner regularly ever since. It used to be the premier Arsenal fanzine. The reason I have joined this forum is to find out if ...
