Quite right, Augie, it's their call not anyone else's
PS: Still want Wenger to go but will whisper it quietly.

Re: BSM Gathering before Swansea
Fair play to the BSM they're finally gaining some traction. But let's not kid ourselves there's a rather large elephant in the room and that's Wenger. You can dress it up anyway you want but most people on the march want Wenger to go. It's BSM's call on what the campaign aims are (and rightly so ...

There is always a defining moment when the balance of fan opinion swings against the incumbent manager. I remember when Terry Neill was in charge, season was a bit of a shocker and the sound of discontent was getting louder. We had a home game against West Brom (I think it was West Brom) and when ...

I think the time has come for everyone to get off the fence. There's no half-way houses anymore: either you want Wenger to go - albeit with thanks for what he has achieved - and we move on and the Board back a new Manager (albeit in the January and subsequent transfer windows). Or we back Wenger and ...

My point here is that when players make the jump to the teams on the top rung on the ladder (and I still maintain that we are a big club on the top rung of the ladder) they expect to see their salaries increase appropriately. Mata goes to Chelsea. I expect they offered him a lot more than we did ...

I have to say I admire those including your good self who've managed to keep going over all those years. I still miss it but simply can't go to all the games.
Wenger has made a rod for his own back. He delivered teams playing great football but hasn't - for whatever reason - been able to maintain ...

Charlie George - memories of that night in the Park Lane will say with me forever. That and working down the Tottenham High Road afterwards towards Seven Sisters. The Sunday was also brilliant to come from two goals down. Tell the kids about it but it just isn't the same anymore and with today's ...

Thanks - I think the real point is we can't continually rely on cut-price transfer bargains. To be fair I remember Wenger buying Hoddle and Hateley (age!) when he was on Monaco. He wasn't a manager who was afraid to splash the cash. Now he seems to be reluctant to spend anything significant. Are ...

50 years old - a lot older than most on this forum I suspect - first game 1972. Season ticket holder for 15 years. Gave up but still go mostly to away games particularly those in Europe when i get chance and can afford it. Suffered through the 70s when we were truly awful at times but best ever game ...

The Promised Land & Sell-by Dates
For the past six years we’ve followed Arsene Wenger on a journey to the Promised Land. We were led away on that journey from Highbury which would (allegedly) see us reach a land which would enable us compete with Europe’s elite (NB No matter that I thought we had already reached that point). It ...
