Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

Congratulations!

The look on some faces at 0-2 though :D It was a cracking final, a really good game of footie and Cazorla's goal was a peach.

Good luck for the PL next year.

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

Top post Dan-85.

Why would anybody clap? It was not a trick, an illusion, they burnt to death having gone to the football, worse they died publically, in the most horrific fashion. I wouldn't want any "recognition" from Hull & Arsenal 29 years later, but y'know, a silence would be so much more ...

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

IMO there should be a minutes applause for Stephen Sutton a man who achieved soo much in a short life. Now that is current.

Bang on, what a star and what a life to be celebrated with applause. 56 fans, in the wrong place at the wrong time, burning to death, should be have a minutes applause 29 ...

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

You can have opinions, we all do but when you read what you have written you realise there is a bigger picture. Dare I say this but has the 56 minute thing been borne out of Hillsborough fatigue..

You have to ask "Why now"? Why not on the 10th anniversary or the 25th, significant dates, why 29 ...

Re: FA Cup Final - Arsenal vs Hull

Long time no squeak! Normally I would support the underdogs, the wannabee Tykes, but on this occasion, along with many "neutrals" I'd like Arsenal to win a trophy and stop all the negativity and get the monkey off your back. I just can't see anything other than an Arsenal win, by 2 or 3 goals, Hull ...

Re: Bradford match thread

Sobered up now.............still feel sorry for your away support, most of the players simply do not deserve that loyalty.

The team performance was lacking in fight and the only "leader"was Wilshire but these are the ones without balls and the ones that really let you down on a freezing cold night ...

Re: Bradford match thread

Sorry Leyton, didn't mean to rub it in.............

Anyway, what sort of fookin kit was that? :? One to be proud of? One to fire you up with pride & enthusiasm? Was it really purple and black stripy bits? Very Arsenal, FFS! Tbh I liked that one when you looked like Bradford. :D

Re: Bradford match thread

Well done to your lot Saltaire. You matched us and good luck in the semis. There is something rotten at our club and tonight is another example of the lack of direction, discipline and fight in this club. It permeates down from a manager whose arrogance is shocking. We need an overhaul starting ...

Re: Bradford match thread

cheers Bantam. best of luck in the semi's. i hope you win.

Not going to happen pal, not over 2 legs. We will get a spanking and it will not reflect well on Arsenal. Meant what I said about Arsenal, got a buzz out of seeing them that I wouldn't get out of seeing say, Man City, another club ...

Re: Bradford match thread

Sad to see all this back biting, IMO Arsenal are Britain's top club, not new-money powered, it's like an institution. Hope everything turns round sooner rather than later........

But, if we kicked of again tomorrow, same line ups, I'd stick money on Bradford. The lack of desire, fight and ...

Bradford View

Tbh, it went exactly as I hoped (dreamt) and said it would on here. What gave me hope, knowing my team is only a decent basement division club, was that we have a work-a-holic battering ram number 9 and a kid alongside him going places. Everything else was just a matter of closing down and fighting ...

Re: Bradford match thread

Oh, nearly forgot, the road under your stand is now closed to Bradford fans, which is a bummer for us but at least will keep you safe from the ointment yoof, rest easy. :D

Re: Bradford match thread

Ok, I am off to the pub now.........................the below will mean bugger all to you but the message is don't waste time trying to park close to the ground, you'll only end up being turned around, probably getting lost and wasting valuable drinking time. Anywhere near the centre will only be 20 ...

Re: Bradford match thread

We will piss all over them tomoro nite and I am predicting a 5-1 victory - I don't want to seem disrespectful to the bantams but there is a 3 division gap there that I would expect to tell.

Fair enough, can't argue with that. However, the reason we are not without hope is your defence and that ...

Re: Bradford match thread

Arshavin made his debut for Zenit St Petersburg at Valley Parade on August 2, 2000. Thought you'd like to know. :D

Going to be minus 2 or 3 in Valley Parade tomorrow night, beer won't keep you warm, and, there are no heated seats. Dress accordingly.
