I know mate, I didn't think for a minute that they were official club merchandise. For a start they'd probably be £30 if they were! I just personally found it a bit fucking embarrassing that so many people were walking around with that on their t-shirt.
True, hard to believe people paid money for any of that rubbish. The club has clearly really clamped down on unofficial merchandise as nothing had a cannon on it. I guess if 200k people turn up, there will be a few dimwits amongst them.

Still back to the positives, what a fantastic weekend with perfect weather as well. Can't remember the last time I got sunburnt in London...

I found the cup winners t-shirts that loads of people were wearing pretty fucking embarrassing though. Winning the FA Cup is a massive massive deal for us, especially with the trophy drought but under any circumstances. So seeing hundreds (if not thousands of people) wearing a t-shirt that on the back had FA Cup Winners 2014 at the top and in the bottom half "Euro Champions League Qualification 2014" above "Mind that gap Tottenham" pissed me off. We won an actual trophy and being there yesterday and today it's obvious how much it means to all the fans, so elevating finishing 4th to anything like the same level is fucking infuriating. And as much as I like bashing Spurs they were never in danger of finishing above us from September onwards so I found that reference pretty small-time.

For the reasons you mentioned, I didn't get an FA cup winners t shirt either. I found it a bit embarrassing to be honest. Spent the whole of Saturday at the 12pins, thankfully mate and I didn't start drinking till half 1 as it turned out to be a long day.

Donald marking is dead but we still insist on using it, gifting an average team easy goals. For the Gibbs clearance, the Sagna stats about not losing an aerial battle were made to look silly as he lost that one. Gibbs did what LBs are supposed to do on the line.

From then on, only one team in it. Santi was our best player. Ozil did better than most give him credit for. Watch it again, he created 3 really good chances that Giroud wasted. Rambo is now a gunners legend because in the 103rd min he stopped being the Rambo of last season. He stopped trying too hard and hit instinctively and sweetly.

The back 4, didn't let us down, AW did with his zonal sh*te. Flappy was shaky and should never have come flying out but his save later, was excellent, but it should be. That's what he is good at, shot stopping. Thanks for the pen saves against Wigan Flappy and good luck elsewhere. Done Aluko is going to have nightmares for the rest of his life about not squaring that ball to a Hull player or going down under Flappy's challenge. Gooners all over the world thank you for your honesty and selfishness.

Didn't get home till later from drinking the night away, got only 4hrs kip because my 3 and 6 yr old daughters woke Daddy up because they wanted me to tell them about the game. I did happily after a quick swig of mouthwash. Didn't think they'd fancy my voddy and beer breath.

Finally my semifinals sweaty gear, cacks and all did me proud. They and me probably stank to high heaven by home time and thanks to that and cork bazzas sh*te internet connection, I still haven't had 'any'. But not too bothered, the feeling I've had for 36hrs cannot be bettered by sex, only by the birth of your children.

Thank you my Arsenal and only one word left to say, the word I texted everyone on Saturday night....FINALLY.

T.S wrote:Just re-watched the whole match. The BT Sport coverage was completely ruined by Neil fucking Warnock. Jesus, what is the point of having someone offer opinions who is so obviously anti-Arsenal? Every word out of his mouth was spiteful. He kept going on and on and on and on about, "it's funny how all the decisions go against you when you're the underdog!" Completely ignoring the fact that we should have had at least one (I think two) penalties.

Twat.
I actually sat there listening to that piece of sad bitter shit and could not believe what I was hearing. Every fucking comment was negative towards Arsenal. Never said one positive thing. Said nothing about the 4 possible (2 deffo) pennos, or anything about Santi and Rambo's brilliant goals, but you'd fucking swear Pele had assisted Messi for both of Hull's.

"Ay-oop, Maahkul. T'Arsenal getting rub t'green. Ah'm nert haavin' thert. T'go dern t'ground too easy all t'day lerng! Ay-oop."

I got the impression that both Owen and the commentator were embarrassed by him tbh.

I'm emailing BT Sport later today to cancel my subscription. Why the fuck would I want to pay them to pay a bitter biased Mrs Doubtfire-looking cúnt like Warnock to take the piss? Fuck them.

I made an official complaint to BT Sport about Owen's commentary during the 1-5 at Anfield and will do so again today about Warnock.. don't want commentators or pundits fawning over Arsenal but balanced impartiality is least we can ask for.

Congratulations!

The look on some faces at 0-2 though :D It was a cracking final, a really good game of footie and Cazorla's goal was a peach.

Good luck for the PL next year.

There is this bronze statue located twenty yards offshore in the Swan River, Perth. She was bedecked in our colours yesterday.

Great.

TY, yeah I watched the ITV coverage all 5 hours of it yesterday and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

Brutal honesty from Keano as usual, Lee Dixon was biased but he does it in a subtle objective way much like any fan would be. I love ex players who are from the North London area that become on of our own, when Dixon was a player most fans supported their local sides (with the exception of liverfool and manure). You also got the impression that Tim Sherwood wanted to just let go and declare his umitigated supported for the fairer half of north london!

We did the 56th minute applause thing, which whilst in the end I can understand why some Bradford fans object to but it was a nice gesture nonetheless. Perhaps when we get to 30 years, we can now properly acknowledge how no one deserves to die at a football match, and that Bradford was as horrific as Hillsborough.

Thanks, mate. 8)

Have to admit at 2-0 down, that early in the game, I wasn't too worried. I know, sounds mad.

But I just felt they had scored way too early to keep us out for the remainder. When Santi scored I knew we'd at least get them to extra time. Perversely when we then went 3-2 up I was shitting it, thinking we'd blow it with a sloppy late goal conceded (which we nearly did!) and then lose on pennos. :|

Is it me or does the world look different now? A huge cloud has been lifted and the gloom has gone. Hottest day of the year and glorious sunshine only backs up my claims that god himself is a gooner.

These are the good times my friends :barscarf:

i think a combination of the ending of the 9 year drought, the 2-0 down, 3-2 win comeback, and the fantastic weather made this one of the greatest days supporting Arsenal ever!

I was too young to get in a pub in 89 but can't believe it was much more mental back then?

What a weekend, no doubt you went to the green man. We did the Globe again, when I got there it was like me and a mate with 20 hull fans, all very friendly good fun, we went off for our fry up and when we got back it was starting to get busy, still more hull than Arsenal. All of a sudden a Gooner started up with the Red Army chant which got us all going. Soon as this happened we had security men tell us to shut up loool. It turns out that local residents had complained about the noise outside the pub. Fuck you don't live near a pub then!

By this time it was starting to become a singing competition between the Gooners and Hull theres no doubt they outnumbered us until about 1pm but we where still outsinging them. As the afternoon wore on I could see more Gooners coming over from the station than Tigers. By 2pm we took the pub and the tigers where long gone, clearly deciding to move onto Wembley. The atmosphere by this stage was rocking !

The rest of the day was a blur, had to watch the whole match again yesterday to remember the key moments!
