Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
I'm somewhat heartened that Steve Walsh at Everton, formerly of Leicester and directly responsible for finding and recruiting the likes of Kante and Mahrez, wanted Perez very much. Lets hope he's still got the magic touch.

Perez = The new Soldado.
I really hope the lad does well, but this reeks of desperation.

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Perez - Evidently Arsenals 5th or 6th preferred striker target this summer, Probably means he'll be shite. All the others have pied us off, or required us spending the going rate.
Still would like to see Lacazette playing for us. ..scoring for fun at the moment.....but not going to happen.

Arsene Wenger, the guardian of Arsenal
After Arsenal’s 0-0 draw at Leicester, Arsene Wenger took the opportunity to enlighten those supporters who are angry at the lack of transfer market activity during this summer. Let’s take his points in turn. If I sound snide and sarcastic ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Sent Campbell out on loan again, even though he's surely better than 1) Theo Walcott 2) Iwobi 3) Ramsey and possibly 4) Ox.
Boggles the fucking mind.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The funny thing about the Wenger situation is that, apart from his clear incompetence, and repetitive mistakes, its his contempt for the fans, that gets to me the most. Can you imagine at any other club, the manager blaming the fans for his own sides shortcomings, and a large section of fans still ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The only problems with that Winter article is, after a decent start, he veers off into a "our plucky British managers are as good as any dirty foreigners" UKIP-type monologue, and he is too naive to see through Klopp's fake eccentricities, needy attention-seeking, and general arse-kissing of ...

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He will stay on. The board will offer him a new deal, he will take it.
I can't see the board not offering him a new contract. Any new manager (if we can attract anyone decent) coming in would cut out a load of dead wood (not worth much), and want to spend at least 100-200m on new players to build ...

the Mustafi situation is where Gazidis needs to get a grip on things - can you imagine this happening when David Dein was at the club?

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
It's his last season folks.
Let's hope it ends very badly for him. The hateful, greedy, selfish nutjob.
I've said it on here before, but even if this is last season(which it isn't), do you really expect him to just leave, and have zero interference with the new manager? The guy is an ego maniac ...
