I'm somewhat heartened that Steve Walsh at Everton, formerly of Leicester and directly responsible for finding and recruiting the likes of Kante and Mahrez, wanted Perez very much. Lets hope he's still got the magic touch.

She most definitely identifies as Dave when she's standing over you holding her cock and balls I can guarantee you thatxgtdec wrote:This sounds horribly familiar.....is her name really Dave...or does she just identify as a Dave??rodders999 wrote:Back then it was.....now "her" name is DaveOneBardGooner wrote: That sounds a lot like my school end of term disco......Was the fat girl's name Tracy????

What I know about the striker from Spain would fit on a postage stamp. I imagine Wenger just looked at the latest edition of Champs and thought "Fuck it, he'll do".
Hope they both work out; but not as much as I hope Wenger pisses off.
3 weeks ago we were begging Wenger to just stump up the cash for a world cup winner. Now it's desperation....he's a quality defender...we need a quality defender...pay it get the deal done.
Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Arsole wenker at his usual cryptic best this morning as he tells journalists to be on the ready cos the next 3 days are going to be hectic - of course, stupid crunts that they are, nobody realises that he hasn't said that Arsenal FC are going to be busy in the next 3 days, but merely that the transfer window itself will be busy
Also amusing to hear him say that not much has been happening to date in the transfer window - almost £1bn spent so far, and it is well on course to be the most money ever spent in a transfer window
I really cannot shake this feeling of embarrassment at how our club behaves in the transfer window, and also at the quality (or lack thereof) of the players we buy - a club with massive resources should, if they have real ambition, be trying to sign a reus/griezeman/abamayueng, instead of buying a player that has only once scored more than 10 goals in a season
I didn't want us to buy anyone but I also hoped that, if we signed anyone, that our buying would be done early - if these deals are completed over the weekend, it will give ozil and sanchez enough time to kick up a stink, tell the manager and club what a shower of crunts they are, and then pack their bags and leave town cos they are simply too good to waste their careers in that shithole club

Jesus H Christ ssn have just showed some of perez's stats and they DO NOT make good reading -
Shot Accuracy 50%
Goals To Shots 17%
Le lamppost has a better conversion ratio and the last thing we need is a striker who is even worse than giroud

If the assclown signs anyone of value and crows about it he needs to be reminded he stayed in the barriers at the jump - AGAIN!! Why does he insist on giving a head start? Kok

The "600 staff" must be shitting themselves now. But wait a minute! It will be okay because the geriatric one, will have forgotten that story! He is saving himself for the next whopper load of porkies.

Wenger has gone from linking the club with top class players to rummaging around in the bargain basement, ready for his trolley dash.
Same old,same old.
Apparently he rejected this no-mark from Deportivo over a month ago,now he is the answer to our goal scoring problem.

Re: Is it time for a Summer Transfer Window Thread Yet?
Perez and Mustafi........99% there supposedly (but then again so was Higuain once or twice upon a time)
I'll give both of them a fair crack of the whip but in the case of Perez, I have to say the initial reaction is completely underwhelming. In an age where our supposed financial firepower should be able to see us sign a Lewandowski, Aubemeyang, Griezmann type.....to be buying a journeyman from Deportivo doesn't get the juices flowing. The believers will point to the Ian Wrights and Jamie Vardys of this world who were late bloomers, and lets hope matey boy turns into one of them. What I would say is that for every Vardy there are still 100 non-Vardys continuing not to make an impact at the highest level
As for Mustafi.....haven't watched him enough. An over simplistic argument would be that he must be good to be in the German side and earning x number of caps at his age, but I think its the most specialist position in the Premier League and the same over simplistic argument could have been applied to Mertesacker, whilst the likes of Gabriel and Otamendi came with rave reviews from La Liga and have been duds. There is no doubt that if you shirk the physical side then there will be more days like Carroll's hat-trick to follow, or being bounced round the Brittania by the likes of Walters, or being softened up and wound up by Costa........so I hope this boy's got a nasty streak as well as being a ball player because he will need it

I've not got a big problem with us paying over the odds for this bloke if he is good enough - we are desperate. Plus in a time when West Ham, Everton, Stoke etc are chucking about 25m+ on transfers, what is "over the odds" is changing every week.Nos89 wrote:officepest wrote:£35m for Mustafi smacks of desperation.

Haven't seen him really so can't pass comment. What I would say however is even CBs who have turned out to be very accomplished PL players tend to struggle massively when they first come here, so I'm not expecting instant success at any rate.
As for Perez I don't need to be able to state with 100% conviction that he is categorically shit to be monumentally underwhelmed by the signing. The bloke is on to a loser already given that he'll be thrust into a nightmare lone striker role in an often insipid team, and up against Wenger's love child Giroud.

The way I'm looking at these are if they are an improvement on what we have. Mustafi gotta be potentially great partnership with Kos beckons. Perez even with those stats SSN quoted prob still gonna be better than what we have - how much better we'll have to wait and see. Underwhelmed yes but hopeful - a leetle bit.
