Re: Brighton (A) postponed due to The Apocalypse.

Stop man ffs - he has scored 10 goals this season (his first in england btw), and that is more than nketieh scored in the championship where he couldnt get his place for dirty leeds. He has scored away against the top 4 chavs when we were down to 10 men, and has generally been our best player this ...

Re: Brighton (A) postponed due to The Apocalypse.

If they flog Martinelli I do not give a fuckk for how much even if it was squillions etc - That would show the exact and true face of our club...if that happened I would walk away for good. He IS a huge talent, the kind of young talent we need. That is all he is at the moment, a talent. There is no...

Re: Citeh (A) postponed due to The End Of Days.

Arsenal have lost Pablo Mari for rest of season with serious ankle ligament/tendon injury suffered in defeat at Man City, may need surgery. Granit Xhaka also picked up an ankle problem but may return before campaign ends. Rob Holding in contention for Brighton @TheAthleticUK #AFC In the grand schem...

Re: The Political Correctness Bullshit Thread

I see Gone with the Wind has now been banned. The fact that Hattie Mcdaniel won an oscar for her role, thus becoming the first "African American" to win one, is entirely lost.

Re: CoronaVirus Latest

Either work from home or open up with social distancing it's simple. No it isn't simple. You're relying on people to follow rules with social distancing and unfortunately some people really don't give a f**k (just go to any supermarket to see this). If you take the example of a pub. You lose trade ...

In other news the orange gimp Trumpwit has forced the US health authorities to publicly tell idiots not to take his advice that ingesting or injecting disinfectant might protect said idiots from COVID19.

Jesus. Fucking. Christ.
I do believe Trump should lead by example on this.

By that logic, can we blame the Greeks (Olympiakos) for what's happening in London?

Re: CoronaVirus Latest

I was reading over the weekend that they are actually having anti-lockdown protests in the US. This is the country with the largest number of cases and deaths.

Seems to me that some just won't understand this until their friends and family start dropping dead...

I have it on good authority (my mind) that the Chinese lad that ate/had sex with the bat that spread COVID19 was a LiVARpool fan.
So we can probably expect the LiVARpool players to wear a t-shirt with his face on it, making him out to be the victim.

All these cleaners were foreign (African etc) and I watched them do a so called deep clean, I pointed out to them several areas that needed cleaning that they were missing and they just blanked me. This is the level that they are used to and the reason why desease is rife in their countries so why ...

Re: Arsenal players told qualify for the CL or take a pay cut

Whilst it would be nice to cut the wage bill, I fear we would lose a lot of players as if we cut their wages there will always be some one out there that won't.

Players have the power not the clubs.

Re: Double 70/71 - lucky or awesome?

No one who wins the league is lucky.

Everyone had to play everyone else home and away so if you finished top you've deserved it IMO.

You can argue about teams being poor but you would have still earned more points than anyone else.

Re: What happens next?

If this sort of thing occurs again (and who knows it could re-occur again in the winter) or if players are long-term injured a la Diaby, Van Persie, etc etc then clubs could maybe pay them a first team squad wage of £20,000 a week rather than their full amount. I would imagine there are employment ...
