Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?
markyp is the only voice of reason on here. The glass really is half empty for some of you. If you can't see the small improvements that are being made under Arteta then you either haveso sort of agenda or your football knowledge and understanding is that of a child. I haven't been on here for a whi...

Re: Modern Football Bol**cks
What is it with these prissy little footballers putting the ball outside of the D when taking corners? The linesmen used to stand there and regulate, move the ball back when necessary, but the corner taker would always have to have the final say by moving it so just a sliver of white chalk is touch...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?
Like celebidee slag Jordan on a Saturday night I'm sandwiched right in the middle of this..... I can see some improvement in our set up and in our spirit but nowhere near the turning a corner thing some are implying has been achieved. We look harder to beat than under Dick's last 6 months but equal...

Re: Mikel Arteta, success or failure?
Marky, instead of throwing out wild statements, can you show me where I (or anyone else) suggested that arteta should be sacked after shit performances against Bournemouth, palace, leeds and Sheffield united ? What I do object to, is some fans overstretching in their efforts to claim improvements w...

Re: Manure (H) New Years Day 8pm
Amazing how the Ref orders Pepe off the field at the nearest point but the 2 Manc subs were able to saunter off at their own pace.

Re: OZIL - Merged Thread
Today we are seeing a lot of quotes from arteta saying how hard ozil is working, and how the team needs to play to his strengths more, but is he too old to be the guy you build a team around (as arteta seems to be suggesting) ? I thought that he was outstanding for the first half last sunday, and I...

Re: other matches this weekend
Don't forget Douzi's pull back that should have really been a pen for Chelsea if the same interpretation was applied. It wasn't all against us, it just shows what a pig's ear they're making of it.

Re: Everton (A) PL 12:30 on 21/12
I would take a few fucking negative 0-0s if it starts setting a platform. We have enough decent attacking quality that we will get better going forward with time, especially with money. We haven’t defended properly for over a decade, so I can absolutely stomach a few dour games like this if it mean...
