THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I am offended by the dismissive way he now treats Arsenal fans (something that is now inherent in our club). I also do not agree that those previous great things entitle him to some bizarre endless right to just keep on making the same ego-fueled mistakes. He has failed repeatedly. He has to go. It is a results driven business. He has not delivered enough to justify what he is paid. 2 FA Cups (whilst enjoyable at the time) is nowhere near enough for 10 years earning £7m-£8m a year. He has failed terribly in the last 8 or 9 years.

I want him gone. I don't respect him any more. I am grateful for what he did for us from 1996-2006. He often offends me. But I do not hate him. Don't give a fuck what anyone thinks of that either tbh.

I want to see the club post a quote from Ozil to see what he truly thinks of the manager...

There have been several banners calling on Wenger to quit, but Koscielny said: ‘With regards to Arsene, I think he has seen other banners since he’s been at the club. The coach is very serene. especially at half-time when he gets us all to do the OM chant and the smell of those joss sticks is amazing.....

‘He knows what he’s done for the club. But I can understand the frustration of the fans, the club hasn’t won the title for a long time. But all the players are doing their very best every season to see who can buy the best sportscar and whose unicorn is the best - I think theo is winning that at the moment, mind you he deserves it - seeing as he is so shitt on the pitch.

‘There are ups and downs every season with new contracts and wage increases, also a great number of injuries from carrying all that wedge to the bank, but I think the coach is still the right man to help us as he has a degree in economics and gets on with the owner very well - They have a real understanding and every time they meet they high five one another and shout "Kerrrrchinggg".

On Arsenal’s chances of winning the title, the France defender added: ‘Well I've been told to say 'we are still in with a leetle beet of a chance, as long as we show our meental strenff' But really we are fucked...still not to worry - we're all on good wages and have really nice holidays booked this summer - as soon as the lap of appreciation is over we all fly off to the Carribean or the Maldives...Though I'm not sure about Theo I think he is going to Potter World to see if he can buy another unicorn

See! Kos knows the score. :?

not only is the bench filled with class, wenger is doing some in game management and no only giving instructions, but giving a fucking bollocking by the looks of it. fucking hell, that is weird, not even joking

All he does these days is berate the 4th official. Other team scores a goal, no hint of a foul in the build up, or sense of unfair play.........Wenger berates the 4th official.

I would wager that these guys have strict instructions what they are NOT allowed to say. Imagine them going out and saying what they really think...... they wouldn't of course because basically they are in sheltered employment.

Pires & Bergkamp on the bench. If that was today they would be out there being flogged to death, playing their 3rd game in 6 days and Wenger would be sitting rooted to the bench alongside Sanogo & Walcott.
