As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Arsenal Till I Die wrote:"Fuck off Stan Kroenke, get out of our club" was belted out loud and proud from the away fans at Everton today!
I tip my hat to the lot of you. The day this c.unt picks up his baseball bat and fucks off back to the land of the Nuggets and the Rapids the better. Detestable prick of an owner - the sort I never thought I'd see owning our great club
Almunia is a clown wrote:Nothing wrong with a double barrelled attack!
Kroenke is a leech & there should have been more protests years ago, he has destroyed loyal AFL supporters in St Louis & treated them like shite & moved their club to another city to make a massive profit, that's all he cares about
The more pressure that Kroenke gets, the more likely Wenger will start to make excuses for the wiggy barstard, Wenger can't help himself & many of his supporters still use Kroenke as an excuse for Wenger's failures. Wenger will turn supporters against himself when he defends the septic wig.
Any pressure on Kroenke is legitimate protest & Wenger WILL have something to say as he always does, any defence of the Yank WILL backfire on Wenger big time!
Time for all concerned to pick their target & aim fire!
I still believe that serious fan protests against wenker would see him walk away cos he thinks he is above being questioned
I would much prefer the protests to be anti wenker BUT, I do wonder whether kroenke would throw wenker under the bus if he feels the fans are turning on him because of wenker - every man, woman and child will know that sacking le cock won't make everything alright, but it will quieten most of the fans who will switch their focus onto a new manager and the plans and strategy he implements
It's coming up for ST renewal time.............so lets go to the press with a 'Board tells Wonga to spend big' bollocks story!! Jesus, every year the same, promises promises, suggestions about this and that........and then the reality of some no mark second rate player coming in.
I can't believe the papers haven't picked up on it, but then a headline reading 'Arsenal to spend 100m' is better than 'Same old Arsenal...always lying'!!
Its out there to put enough fans off the scent of Wengers's blood, but the realists among us will see straight through it.
They say his position may be looked at if he does not spend, so does that mean they give him the whole transfer window?
What it means is he will get another season regardless, and it underlines the fact that there is really no wish to sack him.
There is nothing more scarier for the board/Kroenke than the prospect of having to instal a proper manager, a manager who wants to spend, a manager who wants to win major trophies, even another 12 months delay will give them some comfort.
Their desire is this is enough to allow Wenger to stagger into his 20th season, and maybe, just maybe be successful.
Usmanov, who has increased his stake in Arsenal above 30% said: "I believe that Arsene Wenger is a great coach and Arsenal have to give him the opportunity to plan the succession process and leave his legacy when he deems it necessary. Arsenal need Arsene Wenger."
Speaking to Rossiya24 TV channel he added: "Failures have been haunting Arsenal for many years now, they cannot become the EPL champions. This has led to some discontent with Wenger's position as a manager. "
Who gives a fcuk so long as Wenger is still holding us back?
I agree with that point, BUT I am appalled at usmanov's statement - last year we had a guy on here that claimed to have inside knowledge that usmanov was committed to being owner of our club, and as an opponent of kroenke (and the rest of the cu.nts on the board ), that was good news to me. I still believe that usmanov would be more ambitious and more forceful with wenger in terms of player recruitment, BUT that is no longer enough for me - the last thing we need is another owner that is happy to continue sucking wenkers cock and
who cant see that we are fuck.ed cos if he cant see where it is failing, then how the fcuk can he fix it ?? He has sat back and allowed this malaise to continue unchecked, and my belief is that if you are not part of the solution, then you must be part of the problem
It's probably me just trying to be optimistic but the whole Usmanov thing could be......
Build up Wonga, say he's the man etc etc.....when he fails, and there's a very good chance it could be this season or certainly next, then the team are out of the CL, fans are moaning left right and centre, no-one is happy, Ozil/Sanchez leave because we have no CL football and finally Kranky says to Usmanov ok you can have my shares (for a lower price considering the state of the club) and Usmanov is laughing.
Could be?......probably not but I have to have some hope to cling to!!
Why would Usmanov change anything? He's after the profits like Kroenke so does it really matter? And let's not get distracted from the real problem which is wenker alone. There is enough money to invest into the squad and actually doing tactics doesn't cost anything. Wenker alone is the cancer and he should be cut off from the club. Different manager could turn this shit around with resources that wig wearing asshole gives him. Yes, I despise Kroenke as much as anyone here but I don't see him being the biggest problem.
I can't believe anyone is surprised by Jabba. He is a billionaire Oligarch. A crook. A money obsessed crook. Not even a Gooner, he's a fucking manc fan ffs. He sees one thing at The Arsenal - investment. Nothing more.

Of course he does. Who in his right mind would invest fuckloads of money and not expecting a return for that investment. Nope me neither.
One more thing about Usmanov. I don't think for a second that he wants to change the business model of this club but he might want to actually win something and he could change the mindset of the club. Because winning with this business model and those resources is very much possible. He is not stupid, of course he talks fondly about wenker now as most of the fan base still backs him and he doesn't want to upset the majority of the fans right now as he tries to increase his share of the ownership.
And it really doesn't even matter anyway. Kroenke isn't the problem as he has given more than sufficient resources to wenker. It's wenker and he alone who is the problem here. The resources are there, it's just about how to use them.
