I hate this bull about uniting for the 'run in', i'm all for the team being successful but that does not detract from the fact i want Wenger gone, funnily enough i don't think they are mutually exclusive, but for some reason a lot of people seem to think they are.

Quite often it seems to me the over recent years the team have played well in spite of Wenger not because of him :rubchin:

Arsenal FC is most definitely not Arsene FC :banghead: :box:

"Arsene Wenger says Mesut Ozil's negative comments about Arsenal's season were "not welcome".

The Gunners boss will speak with the Germany midfielder about his suggestion in midweek that Arsenal had "mucked up" their Premier League title challenge.

"I agree the statement is not welcome," said Wenger. "No matter if it just one chance in 100, we have to believe."

Three wins in 10 Premier League games have left Arsenal 11 points behind leaders Leicester with a game in hand.

Arsenal are at home to Watford on Saturday in a repeat of last month's FA Cup quarter-final, which the Hornets won.

Asked whether he would discuss the quotes with Ozil, Wenger said: "We will talk about that of course.

"The worst thing in life is to have wrong beliefs. You have to make sure you give absolutely your best, and at the end accept if somebody is better than you."

If only wenger would accept that he is not the best - nor the best thing for Arsenal FC anymore - He's an arrogant, delusional, cheeky cunnt - I wonder what he'll say to or do about Ozil speaking the Truth....He's our most expensive signing - it's not as if he can put him on the transfer list - - Okay, so he won't have to if Ozil, Sanchez and Cech have any sense they - be off asap... Surely they cannot fail to see we are NEVER going to win anything more than either the League or FA Cup with the bloody clown in charge.

So it's ok for pricks like Giroud to embarrass the club by mouthing off every preseason about how we are gonna win the league.

It's fine for Wankpot to spout shite about how "teams will be scared" to draw us in the CL despite that bluster shaming the club

It's fine for a nobody like Coquelin to chat shit

But Ozil says what everyone knows? Won't spout propaganda? Tut tut.

The fans should chant Ozil's name loud and clear tomorrow. Imagine how much Lord Cum-cheeks will like that
:barscarf:
:barscarf:

Oh yes, I hope they do, Wenger would hate that as it would show that the fans agree with him. Probably won't happen though.

The shocker is that at the end of a week where we remembered a true Gunner legend like Rocky, apparently the likes of him are erased from folklore, as are Anfield 89, the signing of Bergkamp and Parma in the CWC final. Why? Cos the club hadn't been "built" yet by our Lord and Master Fuckstick. Duh!

Guy increasingly reminds me of Louis the 16th in France. Similar arrogance, absolute detachment from reality, incompetent and smug. Mind you, Louis 16 thought he was untouchable and mocked the peasantry...remember what happened to him in the end? :rubchin:
Personally I'd like to see him leave in disgrace and under a cloud of fan unrest and division. Exposed for the lying, arrogant deceitful, cheating fraud that he is.
But if he goes with his head held high, fondly remembered by some and thinking his legacy is still intact, then thats good too. The important thing is that he goes, if not this season but next.

cannot see that affecting him in any way......he really does not care fans do not matter, they come and go, we have a large waiting list to get used

Think he may go for a big signing in the summer though to deflect attention from himself, someone like Ibrahimovic.........

I used to want him to leave with a bit of dignity because of that spell from 98 to 06. I had hoped he would have gone out on a reasonable high after the FA cup in 2014. But now I just don't care anymore how he goes, just so long as he goes.

On the Ozil statement; Ozil is bang on. We botched it. For me the "we" is Wenger primarily because of his tactical shiteness, but also the gutless players we have.

Nobody has the complete right to choose when they go.

He has missed so many chances to leave with dignity. Had he gone in 2014 the overwhelming legacy (rightly or not) would have been his earlier success and a man who steered us through the turbulent times with the stadium move and brought us back to the brink of success with a stronger league showing for most of the season and an FA Cup.

Bang on.

Instead of leaving three years after he should have been sacked, we're staring down the barrel at a 2019 extension to the insanity, which will take him to eight years after he should have been sacked :suicide:

He seems insistent on ruining his legacy. 2019 would be 23 years, and only the first ten were good.

Botched "? Wenger criticized Özil Statements

Arsenal has little chance on the Premier League title, Leicester City is enteilt already eleven points. Nevertheless wants Arsene Wenger that his players continue to believe in the championship - and therefore criticized statements made by world champion Mesut Özil.

With just two wins from their last nine league games Arsenal is advised in the title race behind, the good starting position after the first round - number one - is gone. "If you look at the season, you have to honestly admit that we have marred it themselves," said Mesut Özil therefore during the international break in "Spox". "We have not recently brought out against the smaller teams what we can actually. That will be punished in the Premier League immediately."

Comments that Arsene Wenger displeased properly. "I will ensure that they have the feel differently," the coach said before the game against Watford this Saturday. "This statement is not welcome because we must believe, even if the chance of only 1:.. Should be 100 We only have a fighting chance if we believe in it."

The worst were "false beliefs," said Wenger. "You have to make sure that you give your absolute best. We have to play to the end with passion." Of course, his charges should the situation "fair and honest" estimate. "But you must also look ahead."

A set of Ozil seems to have overlooked Wenger

An equally clear as doubtful announcement towards Ozil, who actually only expressed what many Arsenal fans think - and without which the Gunners would surely stand still far less well. The 27-year-old with 18 assists still by far the Topvorbereiter League.

And a set seems Wenger - or the media, who confronted him with the interview - to have overlooked anyway: "Nevertheless, we still have all the options," Ozil had added to his remarks. Officially his faith is therefore not yet expired.

Walcott comes of the bench and scores a useless tap in. Typical really. Feo really is just an afterthought these days. Feo isnt close to being in the first 11. How can a player who has been at the club for 10 years, who should be in his prime at 27, so easily allow a 19 year old novice to prove beyond doubt, that he is a better player?

Yet Wenger insists Walcott will remain. I just dont understand given Sanchez, Iwobi, Welbeck, Campbell, and even Chamberlain are all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Wenger will sit in idle and allow the malaise to remain - Giroud, Walcott, Mertesacker the biggest culprits

"He is our Alex Ferguson" Don't compare their win ratio, compare what THEY HAVE WON!! Wengers smoke and mirrors act won't look so great then. How the hell did all these people allow themselves to be so duped. AND WHY do the interviewers ALWAYS FAIL to ask the right questions???

Do you think it acceptable to allow spurs & Leicester to finish above us, should Giroud be leading the line on his own, does Walcott deserve 140k per week???? I could think of 100.....
