a manager like him, who consistently gets his team into positions where they challenge and get into the top four has to be commended," Bates said.

Excellent article, basically everything we've been saying on here for months, years even. But I'm sorry I don't agree with the above statement. As Bates says he's flying the "lone flag here"... and with good reason.

If you are getting your teams into positions where you are constantly challenging but you are never winning and worst of all, not learning and doing better the following year, you should not be commended, but FIRED!! People who refuse to learn from their mistakes ultimately lose their jobs, why is the norm always turned on it's head for Wenger??

Challenging? Could have fooled me. How many times in the last decade have we been sat here at this stage of the year with a serious chance of winning the title?

AKBs all over Twitter, lashing out at Leicester, as they realise the plaudits for breaking the "oil cartel" will go to a team that was nearly relegated last season, inspired by the goals of a former non-league player and managed by a guy who couldn't even beat the Faroe Islands.

Deep down, they know that Wenger has pulled the wool over their eyes but can't face up to it, so they're picking on Leicester.

Leicester City have put one hand on the trophy today with SIX GAMES TO GO. There's patience with a manager and then there's rewarding failure. Trouble is Kroenke sees Top 4 behind Leicester and Spurs after 11 years without the title as success, not failure. The only ones that can persuade Wenger to leave is the fans.

What are they angry about? A team having the temerity to not give away stupid goals and perform at a consistent level week in week out? Their cheek at having one main goalscorer up front rather than "shared" goalscoring responsibilities?

Complaining about refs, penalties, hinting at conspiracies etc. The usual stuff.

He's probably talking about up to Dec/Jan before the wheels fly off in all comps in February. And normally with a casualty list as long as.......

Mark my words.
Then I hope someone asks him why we didn't win it then.
"You ask me why did we not win the league. Why do you not ask that of the manager of Manchester City? Of Chelsea, of Manchester United? There were 19 teams who did not win the league but you ask only me. We beat the champions twice. Nobody else can say that."

And the managers of those teams, who failed as much as we will have done, will pay the price by losing their job...... :rubchin: :rubchin:

The other thing the lone flag waver mentioned was City and Chelsea "failing" - well I believe, Chelsea won the league last year and City the year before, so its not exactly a long barren spell is it ?

Oh and guess what both clubs have taken steps to make next season different by replacing the manager

It's all set up for us to "heroically" overtake Spurs in the final few games of the season and finish 2nd. Then for Wenger to come out and say, "We have made progress. Last season we finished third, this season we are second, so naturally next season will come the title. I think we proved our criticis wrong".

If (or when )Leicester clinch the title the irony of Leicester City being our opponents on the day our club became invincible shouldn't be lost. That day we were looking forward to challenging Europe's elite in our new stadium and Leicester were heading for the Championship after a fruitless relegation battle.
Without doping , financial or otherwise, Leicester City have clawed their way back from that season and we have continually regressed , the promises of the stadium move were broken . Nothing sums up Arsene Wenger's reign in it's second half better.

"He is our Alex Ferguson" Don't compare their win ratio, compare what THEY HAVE WON!! Wengers smoke and mirrors act won't look so great then. How the hell did all these people allow themselves to be so duped. AND WHY do the interviewers ALWAYS FAIL to ask the right questions???

Do you think it acceptable to allow spurs & Leicester to finish above us, should Giroud be leading the line on his own, does Walcott deserve 140k per week???? I could think of 100.....
What a Pullonker - he avoids any half decent questions - Of which there are too few...The guy with the mic is also a Plonker.

With delusional fools like this - Wenger will never be usurped from his position of reign unless - Everyone who follows Arsenal who also want him gone get off their arse and stand outside the Bowl with banners and call fro him to be gone week after week...it's the only way he might be removed.
I see Robbie was quite happy to allow this muppet to talk absolute shit, without asking him any difficult questions. I remember Robbie telling Claude last season that he surely couldn't want Wenger gone, considering how we had played in the 2nd half of the season :banghead: . This channel is an extension of the club site. The club wont have you at the AGM, if they see you as a problem, yet Arsenal fan TV get a club invite.
