I can't speak for anyone else, but I felt massively indifferent to yesterday's game. Totally meaningless demolition of a safe, mid-table team with one eye on the cup they put us out of. It’s funny how when the pressure drops we roll over a ‘minnow’ in true flat-track bully style; but I do wish that, for once, we could play with verve and style when it actually mattered.
On the positive side; it was nice to see Sanchez actually looking like a professional footballer again, Iwobi continues to impress and I was absolutely delighted that Feo got the goal his recent contributions have warranted.
