Jack Wilshere

Oh look, the little chav cunnt has made an arse of himself and the club again

This little fucker has been on £90K a week, rising to £110K a week :censored: :cussing:

Fucking hell, what a disgrace the lad is. You'd never get Tony Adams or Paul Merson act like that
Different times. Those two are bona fide Arsenal legends - and have more title/cup medals - than the little chav.

Adams and Merson played in a time when footballers ate crap, drank like fish and could shovel coke up their noses every day of the week without getting caught. Not to mention that they both had severe problems.

Times have changed now and you can't get away with anything. Wilshere should know that better than anyone given how much shit he has been given over stuff like a picture of him having a cheeky fag on holiday.

If you are a high-profile PL and international footballer you can't go out clubbing with your mates, you just can't. There will always be some dickhead supporting a rival who will give you lip and get his mates to film it. It's a small sacrifice for the life of a PL footballer.

I don't give a shit if Wilshere likes to get hammered and lark about with his mates at all. But doing it publicly (again) just reinforces that the guy has no discipline and not a shred of intelligence or professionalism. Particularly when the fans' money goes to paying him an astronomical amount to play zero football for us.

That's the rub. We seem to get a lot of them in our club.

Wilshere should be applauded for THAT song about Tottenham on the bus (twice), who gives two fucks about his behaviour.

Half of the complainers are hypocrites who have probably done similar things to him at twice his age.

My only complaint with this guy is his fitness, but at least he's non-PR in an era of PR nonsense. Still can't believe our club had to apologise because he sung that nasty song about Tottenham, boo hoo.

Whilst I agree that wilshere show's no self awareness and spends his time with the wrong people in the wrong places, he isn't a wrong un, and he certainly ain't a gasgoigne or collymore. I love TA6, my favourite Arsenal player of all time, but he had some absolutely shite times and got done for drink driving and going through someone's wall, and many other huge public humiliations, but we stuck by him and in the end he grew up and accepted the burden of responsibility on his shoulders.

jack is still 24, I don't think his indiscretions deserve to be given too much thought right now.

But none are on Arsenal’s books being paid the best part of £100k p/w to go out on the piss whilst recovering from yet another year-long absence, are they?

So he goes clubbing and cant help himself with the piss. I really dont care. I think 'good behavior' is overrated. Just look at Feo the boy scout.

No way should we be selling Jack.

If you go clubbing, you usually dance. How can a professional, international footballer go and dance when he is injured. Surely all of his energies should be being used to getting himself fit so he can do the job he is paid to do!

We have had this argument on here before...

My standpoint is you simply cannot compare modern young footballers in the PL with other young blokes in normal jobs. With that £100K+ weekly wage comes some obligations and some required sacrifices. You have to forgo the piss ups or you will not maintain the required level of physical fitness to play at the top level. With the advent of and upsurge in social media etc players are now under the spotlight more than ever. If they are being paid to endorse certain products (boots etc) then they are being marketed and perceived as role models and thus have a commitment not to act the gash. None of these concerns are relevant to your average young bloke in a regular job. You can't compare the two.

Similarly, comparing Merson and Adams to modern players is pointless. Most professional footballers of that generation were piss heads. The physical requirements were very different to today. But there is also the argument that both Merson and Adams were very successful players and delivered the goods no matter what their lifestyle was, whereas most of these modern young players that are on the lash and/or have these social media personalities tend not to be successful. If you can fuck about and deliver the goods then fine. If you can't, then don't fuck about.

If Jack wants to act like "a normal young bloke" then fine fuck off and get a proper job like a normal young bloke.

He doesn't even have to get a proper job, he can just walk away with his loot and do what he wants. (He does that anyway
