Add Ramsey and Ox to that.

Ramsey = one brilliant season, nothing but useless shite either side of it.

Ox = we are all still waiting to see what he can do.

I wish Wenger wouldn't use phrases like "there's still a strong possibility of catching Leicester", it's embarrassing to hear.

Not saying he shouldn't put on a united front in public, but should really be tempered with a bit more realism.

It wasn't even a "strong possibility" before we lost at home to Swansea.

Yet another addition, it really is getting comical and frankly embarrassing now :censored:

On the other hand, he looks so fcuking smug here:

Xanit probably is coming :rubchin:
He didn't sign Payet because he was inconsistent. That label could be placed at the door of most of our 1st team squad. Is Giroud consistent? Is Ramsey consistent, is Walcott consistent? I'm sick of his embarrassing attempts to be a football genius by mentioning players he didn't buy. I wish one of the journalists would reel off to him, some of the shit he has bought, some of whom are still at the club, being rewarded for their mediocrity.

Arsene Wenger had been keeping tabs on Dimitri Payet for a 'long, long time' before he signed for West Ham - but the Arsenal boss only opted against buying him last year because of the number of attacking midfield players he already had.

Wenger claims he was even watching the player when he was at St Etienne - who he joined nine years ago - and was monitoring him up until West Ham made their move.

Many times,' Wenger said. 'I have known him for a long, long time. When he played at St Etienne he played there for a few years and we watched him many times. He has all the attributes to be a top, top player and is that in fact.

What a pity.... busy "monitoring" and then got nicked away. Another one for the virtual squad...

Every season a player makes a name for himself, everybody gets taken by surprise, but not Wenger. He is not one to get caught out like other managers... he saw these guys from way, way, back. Unfortunately while he was monitoring..........

Vardy will be next, what a bullshitter, just has to be involved in EVERYTHING!!

oh look we can learn from Leicester City :roll:
http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... leicester-

of course he is trying here to make himself look good and saying that he adopted the approach of not spending lots of money years ago.
funny though isnt it that in all those years when he has not spent much we have yet to challenge for the title :oops:

could the difference be what Wenger acknowledges here:
“If you look well, they finished very strongly last season and on top of that they brought some players in who have given them something more"

hey we also finished the season strongly SO WHY DIDNT WE BRING IN SOME PLAYERS THAT COULD HAVE GIVEN US MORE???? :banghead:

Dont forget Anthony Martial's agent came out with the classic put down of Le Fool.

He saw Vardy playing for the Dog and Duck XI in 2006 but Vardy's wage demands (£500 p/w) were too much and we had Jeremie Aliadiere anyway.

That's worth quoting again;

If you look well, they finished very strongly last season and on top of that they brought some players in who have given them something more"

He also said;

What we learn from Leicester City is what I knew for a long time, which is that it’s not just only down to the amount of money you spend,”

Jesus Christ. He is actually becoming a sick parody of himself. :oops: :roll:

We finish strongly every year when we've nothing to play for, so we should have won the title several years running.

Oh, forgot, they bought the players that 'gave something more', our players just take the piss. We didn't buy any to give us something more!

what is ridiculous about Wenger's comments on Leicester City is that ALL of the big clubs that he says can learn from Leicester have actually WON the Premier League in recent years - Chelsea, Man City, Man United.

isn't it about time he focused on getting Arsenal winning again ???? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
