Leicester (please, please, please) - spuds - Man City, then us slotted comfortably back in that spot we've made our own.
In contention briefly against both crisp & oil money, 1/4's of the FA Cup and CL qualification yet again, an outlay of 15m total for players, all our injured returning in time for the summer hols and probably record profits for the club..... all in all a cracking good season. Seriously I feel like kicking the TV in. FUCK this & FUCK Wenger.

Leicester has definitely secured a CL spot for next season now that United have lost.

Secured a CL spot?? They're gonna win the league, they haven't set their sights on 4th, they're looking at 1st. We're the ones looking at 4th, Wenger sees that as a huge achievement.casgooner wrote:Leicester has definitely secured a CL spot for next season now that United have lost.

remember when we "BLEW THE TITLE RACE WIDE OPEN 1!!1!!" with that lucky win at home to Leicester?

Calm down mate! The first CL spot has been secured by Leicester, today, because they could lose every match from now until the end of the season and it is mathematically impossible for them not to get in it. Not because they are celebrating that, it is just a stat.xisstential wrote:Secured a CL spot?? They're gonna win the league, they haven't set their sights on 4th, they're looking at 1st. We're all mad mate, no need to take it out on anyone who posts something. You'll blow a gasket!!

Put is within 2 points I believe. Since then:
Arsenal P 6
W 2 D 2 L 2 = 8 points
Leicester P 7
W 6 D 1 L 0 = 19 points

Totenham are still in this unfortunately, leicester are in great form but there last five fixtures are tricky. Its not inconceivable theyll only pick up 5 points from a run of games against Swansea, Man Utd, Everton, Chelsea and W.Ham.
5 points would give them 77 points, which would allow Tottenham in by winning four of their last five. I think Tottenham could well pick up 13 from their last five games, so Leicester need to be looking at 7 points minimum from those five games above - sounds easy, but they need to get near 7 points from the WH, Swansea, Everton games to be sure.

We're going to get 4th place by default as Man Utd have a dead manager walking and W.Ham are still a team full of mid table players. Rejoice!

I wish a journalist would just ask Wenger why is it that Ranieri at Leicester is on course to achieve in one attempt what you have failed to achieve at Arsenal, an infinitely bigger club, in twelve?

Strange because I haven't seen Leicester or Spurs players posting dressing room celebration photos or giving endless tabloid interviews about mental strength and desire.Clash wrote:Robin_L wrote:remember when we "BLEW THE TITLE RACE WIDE OPEN 1!!1!!" with that lucky win at home to Leicester?

I guess Leicester just have a leetle beet more of that "pure spirit" that we displayed in our 4-0 home win over Watford.

Ox dancing in the tunnel before a match shows how seriously the players take these matches.

Followed by him coming on and giving Fabregas an enormous grin and a pat on the back whilst we chuck our title hopes away.casgooner wrote:Ox dancing in the tunnel before a match shows how seriously the players take these matches.
