Scholes and Neville would never lay into Ferguson if he was still charge. Chances are scholes would still be playing and still be better than fellaini. They can hammer Utd as they have no link. Bet if giggs gets to be in charge they wouldn't publicly criticise him.donaldo71 wrote:Paul Scholes and Gary Nevile Man Utd legends but they tell it like it is when they talk about United. They hammer United
The bollocks we have to listen to from Keown Wright Parlour Winterburn and Dixon is fucking embarrassing.Their job is to tell the truth not be PR men for the club. They are insulting us when they say Wenger is still the best man for the job. They are all spineless Wenger yes men

Re: Ex-Players 'Hall of Shame'
Alan Smith on being pressed about our collapse acknowledged that the players weren't up for it and that these are new problems - ie that Wenger ignores or cannot address problems and that we bottle it every season.
Cue vague calls for "inquests" and a "post-mortem" with Arsene Wenger's name not mentioned a single time in the post-match analysis between Smith and Henry. Pair of spineless pricks.

Lauren has become the latest to aver that TOF is the right man to get the club out of the mess it's in.
Why do none of them consider who it was who got us into the mess in the first place?
Is there a single ex-player telling it like it is?

Lauren??? Club propably just sends them nice pay check and couple of written lines to be released. Can't believe these sheep. Wonder what Vieira would say?

Funny how the only two of members of the double winning / Invincibles squads who don't pipe up in support of Wenger are the only two who are actually bothered in keeping their heads down and making a career for themselves in football.GranadaJoe wrote:Lauren has become the latest to aver that TOF is the right man to get the club out of the mess it's in.

I haven't heard Vieira and DB10 fawning over what a great job Wenger is doing. Then again they aren't bothered about trying to make a fortune by sitting on a sofa saying the exact same shit as every dickhead who sits on there before, after or next to them.
Take Keown as an example - inexplicably lauded as a 'great future Arsenal manager' by some on here. Did some coaching with us in 2006, was involved managing Oxford University side to get great grassroots experience. Decided he couldn't be fucked with the effort trying to break into coaching/management, gave up and became a pundit.
Re: Ex-Players 'Hall of Shame'
Alan Smith has just blatantly said ".. another manager could get more out of this group of players than Arsene". Mentioned Simone, when challenged by Redknapp about style of play, he responded " look at Dortmund after Klopp, new guy hasn't done too bad. There is always someone to take over". He certainly not flip flopping.

Keown today stating that AW will want to go out on top and that he will have to buy big (try not to laugh).
However, he did say that TOF continually overestimates the ability of his players.

The only reason the bloke has a voice on football is because he had cancer. Not knowledgeable, can't read the game, not articulate and frankly thick. Like Merson but without the illusion of being funny.Bradywasking wrote:John Hartson...
Re: Ex-Players 'Hall of Shame'
Lee Dixon was commentating on the stream I had on yesterday, without actually saying that he thinks Wenger should go, which I know some of you would have wanted to, he was highlighting why he understood the fans. He said that year after year, we finish 12 points or so behind the leaders and for fans who want to challenge that is not good enough. He mentioned last summer when we were the only club not to buy an outfielder, that that is not acceptable to the fans either. He said he didn't see the 'team spirit' that Wenger was always talking about. Taking selfies after a mediocre win does not show team spirit, you see team spirit on the pitch, fighting for each other chasing balls down etc. H e has seen no evidence of that lately.
His co-commentator said that he couldn't understand Giroud starting when he hasn't scored n the league since January and asked if Lee could state why, to which he replied, no so maybe he shouldn't have started. At one point he questioned not buying in January when two or three players could have made the difference. It was quite refreshing , I wish someone could relay is comments to Wenger. Pah,it wouldn't make any difference, he would just cross Dixon of hi Christmas list.

Got to say I loved what Merson said on Soccer Saturday , 20/08/16.
Saying that the fans should treat the club the same way the club treat transfers. Basically offering to pay less for season ticket as the club have no ambition to win the title.
I'd like to know if that could actually be done?
After all as customers don't we have the right to offer a value we want to pay?
I'd offer around £500 for £1200 season ticket.

Merson will say something really sensible one week and the next he will be telling fans to be careful what they wish for. The bloke is the ultimate flip-flopper and seems too thick and excitable to culture an opinion and then settle on it.Nos89 wrote:Got to say I loved what Merson said on Soccer Saturday , 20/08/16.
