That is fucking horrific. Sort of sums modern football and in particular, the Chavs, right up.Rugby Gooner wrote:I thought that I had seen most "Tourist" related self obsessed ,selfie-stick ,Tablet wielding bollocks, but I just saw the Chavski mascot walking down the "handshake line" against Citeh, and he was filming it on his mobile!!! Seems like a good enough excuse to use the ***** sign again.

Being the "oldie" that I am, I don't think mobile phones should have camera's on them in the first place - I use my phone for texts and phone calls only, so the camera and internet function is redundant on my phone. I actually cant understand how people can go from being on the internet on their laptop/ipad, and then try and watch it on their mobile phone's tiny screen

Re: Mobiles.I-Pads etc at matches
That shit should be banned from football grounds. Impossible to enforce though
I also think it's stupid to use a smartphone for anything that a laptop can do. Although smartphones can be useful, I find the vapid consumerism surrounding them to be vulgar. Sad bastards queuing up for the latest phone? FFS. Whenever I travel about London, almost everybody's head is buried in their smartphone, which I find mildly disturbing (if understandable).

If you watch Aguero's goal, the front on replay, there is a Chelsea fan behind the goal in a hoody filming it on their mobile phone.
Bad enough feeling the need to film your own team, but the opponents scoring?

What annoys me most about football these days? beer chucking *word censored* on the concourse 5 minutes before kick-off! get out there and make some noise on the terraces ffs. so many away games these days all the noise is before, at half time and maybe full time if we win. take it to the terraces, let it build out there! that's how i remember the good old days

The only time that will change is when beer is finally allowed back in the standsHenry Norris 1913 wrote:What annoys me most about football these days? beer chucking *word censored* on the concourse 5 minutes before kick-off! get out there and make some noise on the terraces ffs. so many away games these days all the noise is before, at half time and maybe full time if we win. take it to the terraces, let it build out there! that's how i remember the good old days
