John Hartson :coffeespit:

He thinks Arsene will spend big this summer, he really does. He says he expects Wenger to spend £150m.

What a fucking idiot.

Commentators on 5 Live discussing Arsenal and Wenger. Alan Green saying that maybe it is time for Wenger to go as he hasn't addressed the issues in defence and other positions that needed to be addressed. They can understand why Arsenal fans are disappointed when from a season when they should have been serious title contenders, they are nowhere near winning it and will have a fight to stay in the top 4. Maybe the tide is turning in the media now.

How the fuck would he know, was one of the worst defenders ever at the Arsenal, he Did not have a clue about defending
Which begs the question why listen to him ?

What qualities did Wenker see in him that made him believe, overall, that he would cut in the premiership and in Champions League football ?
Whether Squillaci was a crap defender or not is immaterial, it doesn't matter how good you are at something you can still tell if the person who is telling you what to do is clueless
Would rather listen to someone you respect, whose words count for something, and has performed well at the top level, he along with Stepanovs were donkeys, would not trust them to cross the road safetly

squillaci won the league twice with lyon, the fench cup with monaco and the copa del rey with sevilla and won 21 caps for france, if he feels he was let down by wenger's management hasn't he got a very valid opinion? a more valid opinion than someone who hasn't played under wenger and not won trophies with other clubs?

Spot on.

We've gone through dozens of centre-halves, many of whom had a decent pedigree before we got our hands on them.

Fuck knows what Wenger coaches them to do, because it sure as shit isn't defending.

Wenger staying so long is killing Arsenal. Klopp managed to get Liverpool to achieve amazing result against Dortmund. So so gutted I will die one day I want to enjoy my team and see upward movement. Groundhog Day

Kinda reminds me of how they had to prise thatchers hands off the door handle at No 10 to get shot of her - The same will be required to remove wenger the man with No Honour. :banghead:

Chelsea (twice), Southampton, Man Utd, Swansea and now Palace. Teams that were struggling but still managed to get a great result against Arsenal.

I wonder how many "expected goals" we were due today.

Can any of you honestly say that when the summer transfer window opens you expect top class players to want to come to Arsenal under Wenger, as long as he is the manager we are a spent force in English football never mind attracting talent from around the world.

Money and London is only worth so much but if you are a top player looking for success this is not the place to come to get it :banghead:

By the way is Joel Campbell injured at the moment because as far as i can remember he was playing well if not spectacularly but now can't seem to get a game once again ahead of Wenger's special little children :rubchin:

Chambers should have stayed at Southampton with Koeman or joined Pochettino at Spurs. If he carries on with Wenger, he'll be propping up a League One bench in a few years time.

I noticed we're playing West Brom on Thursday and then Sunderland on Sunday lunchtime. So that's Wenger excuse for when we get rolled over by Fat Sam.

If wenker stays we wont finish in top 8 next season! Thee are so many teams on the up and the utds and chavs will come back stronger! Do i give a fuck that is the question im asking myself and quite frankly i couldnt give a flying fuck what happens to the club under the current regime from kroenke to usmanov to galzidis to wenker.
This isnt the Arsenal i loved in fact i dont even recognise it from what that was.

Just saw a tweet from a Man U fan which i had to smile at (not sure how to link it):

"Don't joke, if we sneak 4th place with an FA Cup win LVG's turned us into Arsenal"

Cheered me up for some reason but there is an element of truth to it, and yet LVG is under more pressure than AW ironically :?

If Man It's win the FA Cup and finish fourth LVG will get the sack yet Captain Myopic gets a three year extension for doing that :banghead:
