assuming wenger has been paid on average 7m a year since 2006 he has earned £30m per trophy won with us in that time, during the last two seasons pochetino has built a team on a modest budget and is likely to eclipse any league season we've had in 10 years.

makes you sick don't it :!: :|

I heard today that Ancelotti is making Sanchez his number 1 target for Bayern in the summer. If I was him I'd take the offer and try to get Ozil to go too. I really only think that players walking out will make a difference. Fans can't and the media can't but players leaving can. Of course there are some that would never do so as they know they wouldn't get in to any other Prem teams or top European clubs (Wally, Gibbs, Wilshere and Ramsey to name just 4).
Still peddling that old myth eh? I wonder what those Scouse fans who drove out Rodgers, drove out Rafa (who won a CL), and drove out not one, but two ruthless Yank owners make of defeatist fans of this elk?

Is it any wonder the whole club is such a mess. I'll repeat Arsenal are no different. If the fans properly go for him, the board will act. So far sadly, the height of our "toxic atmosphere" was three fans at a train station in Stoke, and a few Ruperts booing mildly after Palace after spending 90 minutes sunning themselves in the various empty seats in between tweets.

I also had to laugh at the farcical notion that "players leaving would make a difference"

Vieira to Juve
Henry to Barca (gave up on winning CL with us)
Fabregas to Barca, then back to win the league with Chavs
Nasri to Citeh (proved our fans wrong with 2 titles)
And worse still...

Cole to Chelski (won everything)
RVP handed on plate to ManYoo and wins them the PL

Of course, players walking out really did it before eh? Oh no wait...it's because "Na$ri" is a money grabbing judas. Yeah so is Cesc (took paycut to join Barca)...so was Cole...errrrr yeah RVP too (turned down bigger money at Citeh but let's ignore facts)...

Tell you who defo isn't a money-grabber though. That wrinkly wankstain on £8m a year!

Oh what's that line you used recently again? Aaah yes...

Harry Kane 24 league goals this season - Giroud has 12. And counting this season and last, Kane has scored 45 league goals, whilst this season and the last 3, Giroud has scored 53. So despite two extra full playing seasons, Giroud has scored only 8 more league goals than Kane.

Dont worry though, Giroud has made the news today - took a selfie whilst flying on a private jet to meet with our sponsors, Puma.

Then we have Wenger who stupidly believes Giroud is top class. When the stats prove he isnt better than Defoe, Carroll, Troy Deeney or Arnautovic. Yet Wenger has given him 100k a week despite an average of 13.25 league goals a season. That is a figure Harry Kane will double.

He pleads poverty, yet gives out our money like its going out of fashion. If you have the luxury of paying 100k a week to a glorified Peter Crouch, then your not on limited resources.

Apparently Arsene has simply been giving players days off after these poor results. More evidence of Wenger's non-confrontation style of management. I remember how Samir Nasri lift the lid on how Wenger dealt with a poor result - he said nothing to the players. Gave them the silent treatment. How juvenile and immature is that in the world of grown ups? When a massive set back happens - dont talk about it, have a day off and come back the day after as if it never happened. Now wonder the same mistakes occur year in year out, as it appears the team and manager literally dont discuss any of it.

Poor result, silent dressing room, day off on Monday, come back Tuesday for a tippy tappy training session as if nothing happened on Saturday or Sunday.

He really doesnt like getting his hands dirty and doing the unpleasant aspect of management. If your the CEO, you have to fire people, cut jobs, forfeit Christmas bonues ect - all pleasantness decisions. But if you want the job, you have to do it. Well managers are supposed to read the riot act, tell certain players to wind it in and cut the sh.. attitude. Tell players they are lacking effort. Sell players and renegotiate deals based on performance. But not Arsene, he avoids conflict, avoids having to deal with failure, gives out contract extensions with pay rises regardless of the circumstances. A pay cut discussion is confrontations and Wenger wants to avoid it, so he simply hands out our money to Giroud, Arteta, Walcott, Rosicky ect.

He is piss weak on and off the field. The players dont respect him. Sure they love him, but they dont respect him like players respect Ferguson of Mourinho.

I have a terrible feeling spurs are going to win the league. Do you think Wenger is looking at them with worry or admiration?? Not a bit of it, all those above us are no longer his concern, he doesn't care who they are. We are in our business end of the season, normal position and it's all eyes on W.Ham & United. Stay ahead of them and it's another successful season. And I'm not joking either, that is how he will see it. " Vee definitely weren't at our best but I repaired the mental damage & we STILL got CL" :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

WE HAVE TO GET SHOT OF HIM,NOT AFTER ONE MORE SEASON BUT NOW!! This has become a crisis.

The problem is that some of our fans only view things from a fans perspective, so not winning the title/Spurs winning it is obviously a disastrous season, but for Wenger and co, he is still on track to meet the aims of the owner. We will finish 3rd/4th, and will do so with only 15 million spent, that is a great season for Stan. When someone posts "the end is near", because of another Wenger failure, it presumes two things. That (a) Kroneke gives a shit about on field success and (b) Wenger will admit his own failings, and walk away. Neither points are likely to happen, and unfortunately Wenger will be here next season, and more than likely will get a new contract at some point next season.

The one thing he will not be able to spin is Spurs winning the league. Especially if United leapfrogged us and then sacked van Gaal.

Although of course we would then be into the end of the season and the Euros and after a few panic buys the vast majority of the fans at our first home match in August will have forgotten all about this by then.

No way will he go this summer under and circumstance. The board will never sack him and he will never admit he is no longer best man for the job - he will only ever walk away at the end of a deal and badge it looking for a new challenge or whatever.

I stand by the statement that fans can't force his exit. At any other club maybe, but not at ours. Our board won't give a toss if every single season ticket holder refused to renew. There are plenty out there that will grab the chance of an ST and it would free up more seats for tourist fans that also spend money at the concession outlets and the club shop. Win-win for the club isn't it. You have to remember that as long as he is achieving what the owner wants i.e. top four football, a remote owner that doesn't have to face the fans at any time will not give a shit what they think.
You're talking about one player leaving in a season. I'm talking about several players leaving at once. Players leaving en mass could do it. If Ozil and Sanchez left this summer with statements about the clubs lack of ambition and a mediocre squad it would be difficult to attract other top players. You'd only need one or two others going to create the problem. That'd force the clubs hand. It may not seal his exit but it would force a different approach in the transfer market. Ultimately that's what fans want. We want to honestly compete and to do so in the modern game you have to spend money for the best players.
