Remember when the scope of Spurs fans dreams was seeing us falter? They celebrated losing on the last day in 1999 against Man United as if they drew it would have meant we won the league. Then when Sol left them, they were so miserable and took delight in every one of our short comings. Because they themselves knew they were not going to achieve anything.

This is what Wenger has reduced is to, thinking like miserable Spurs from than the late 1990's and early 2000's. In the sense that we know we cant achieve anything, so just hope Spurs dont succeed.

I really dont like being a miserable pessimistic fan who expects the worst, but its what Wenger had reduced us all too. There is no excitement, or optimism, just dread and anxiety. On the other hand, Spurs fans are rightly optimistic given the quality and resilience of their team.

Then you have Wenger saying it wont be a big deal is Spurs finish above us. In his 20 years, has he not discovered the intensity of the rivalry between Arsenal and Tottenham? 'No big deal'? Wenger is losing the fans support rapidly, and these type of comments can only accelerated the animosity toward him. I personally believe he is just trying to save face, and keep up the image he is in control and there is nothing out of the ordinary. Wenger's pretending Spurs finishing above us isnt significant, is just Wenger trying to kill a scandal in its crib. The reality is, it is a big deal, and when it does happen, its going to make news and be talked about all summer, no matter how much Wenger pretends is isnt a big deal.

He is as useless at PR as he is football management.

Totally fucking agree with you Wilson.
I lay awake in bed last night literally stressing about them winning the fucking thing. Chap behind me on Sunday said he never wants to see it in his lifetime and that's how I feel.
Unfortunately momentum is everything in football. They have it and Leicester may be coming off the rails. At the weekend the papers were full of Leicester's last title bid in '63 when they were well clear with 5 to play and then fucked it up with draws and losses. Come on Claudio, couple of home wins and the scum draw at the Chavs and we can all rest easy again....PLEASE

Leicester's remaining fixtures are:
Swansea H
Man United A
Everton H
Chelsea A

They need 7 points, and that's with Spurs winning all their remaining games. I still think Leicester will end up winning it.

Funny that I haven't seen them scrabble together every British player in the squad, put eye-watering contracts in front of them for a photo shoot and anoint them the best British dream team since the Dam Busters.

Just like I haven't seen Vardy, Drinkwater, Wes Morgan, Huth and co taking it in terms to come out and tell everyone how much mental strength, belief and desire they have. Somehow consistently winning big games seems more powerful.

Leicester really have to win their 2 home games. If they do I think they'll win it. If they don't it doesn't bear thinking about :cussing:

If wenger was offered on a plate ,free of charge ,
any one player from the spud squad he would turn the offer down and say, I cannot see anywhere within our squad that can be improved by any one of them.
Arrogant twat!

I am hoping that Chelsea might come to our rescue.
I was speaking to a Chelsea season ticket holder yesterday, and they are just as terrified at the thought of that lot winning as we are.

Spurs still have to go to Stamford Bridge - that wont be easy and the crowd/players will be up for that game

Leicester City go to Chelsea on last day of the season. This season ticket holder says loads of Chelsea fans are prepared to flog their tickets to Leicester supporters for stupid money if it goes down to that game. The remaining Chelsea supporters in the ground are all likely to be supporting Leicester City.

Actually they need 8 points because Spurs goal difference is better.

whether Spurs win it or not they are still going to be one hell of a team again next year as well.
I would put them as joint favourites to win the league with Man City as things stand now.

Nah bollocks...Wenger will be as sick and hurt as us and will change his ways, revamp the squad and bring the title back to us.......

Leicester should win their two home games although Vardy has jsut started scoring all their goals for them again...... :?

The chavs should at least give everything to stop the scum winning it, or so you'd hope. Will be an interesting atmosphere at Chelsea vs Leicester on the final day.

Seriously though lads if they win it we will have to man up and take the banter, sticks and stones and all that, I will get it from 5 of the cunnts for weeks every saturday but a few dead arms and choke holds should see it nipped in the bud

It's only a game after all

BTW if de bruyne (best player in the pl for me) and to a lesser extent nasri been for for city this season I think they would have won it comfortably, silly cunnts getting injured
