WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Even sat up with the latte drinkers there were groans and moans when he took to the field yesterday and a couple of pissed up blokes behind me got up and called him a useless wanker when he ran straight into the full back. I've noticed the Feo Feo shit has finally stopped now after a decade. If he comes out with any more shit about wanting to leave and mentioning his beloved Ing-er-lund spot (who he is always shit for too anyway) then I hope there is an Eboue moment

Think the love has finally died for Wenger's lovechild Ramsey too....apart from in the Palace section who were delighted with his performance. He set up some great attacks for them

The stick he got from our fans at Old Trafford from the first minute to the last was as bad as I've heard for any of our players. I haven't heard a single voice - fan or otherwise - offer any serious support to him in the face of constant media and fan criticism.

Which whilst it's nice that he is being seen for the waste of space he is, actually just highlights that we are stuck paying 7-8m a year to this lemon who nobody else is going to touch with a barge pole at that sort of money.

I've always been a big fan of Theo. I believe he hasn't be coached properly, not been given the amount of time in the striker he needed in which we would have seen the best of him. his confidence is shattered and he has to leave for his own good. He has probably 2-3 seasons left as a Premier league player as he doesn' t seem to have anything else in his locker to give.
If he does leave for a team like west ham they will play him through the middle consistently and he will score goals. He needs someone to show some belief in him as a player, it obvious that is no longer coming from the supporters. He seems to be tarnished with wengers last 10 year failure as he has been with us since the move to the bowl.

He is like Giroud - both asked for faith to be placed in them, insisting Arsenal dont need to go out and buy a striker, yet between 52 games they have collectively scored 17 league goals.

Kane, Vardy, Aguero and Lakuku have individually scored more than 17. FFS Kane has scored 24 this year!!

Giroud and Walcott were at the start of the season, the two players who expected to lead the line. And none of them have stood up, instead floundering and being at fault for the worst goals scored campaign in many years. When both your two 'top' strikers falter, then its no surprise the season goes tits up. They asked for the responsibility, and didnt take it on. There has to be repercussions. It cant be allowed to be swept under the carpet. We cant go into next season with Walcott and Giroud still on the books. We cant pretend these two pretentious morons didnt put their hand up as the men for the job, only to F off when they were needed.

Even Wenger, being a pushover who doesnt know when he is being taken for a ride by players who dont repay his faith and the obscene wages given to them, must realise Giroud, but in particular Theo, has let the club down.

I dare say it, Walcott and Giroud performance and attitude this year is tantamount to insubordination. They have stuck two fingers up at Wenger. Ferguson or Jose wouldnt have stood for this rubbish. Yet Wenger, seems to allow his own players to F around. Always felt Wenger was weak and doesnt realise his own players take advantage of him of his good faith. But thats another problem specific to Wenger.

I can't actually believe that John Cross article exists. Surely it's a parody, it has to be.

Cwoss and Wenger must have a secret bet between them to see which one of them can troll the Arsenal fans the most; with the former’s absurd Walcott fantasy only surpassed by the latter’s efforts to see us go from 1st to 5th in a title race that was ours to lose.

What a fucking pathetic puff-piece that flies in the face of all evidence. I wonder if this moron is a member of the flat earth society too?

Dickhead.

That Cross article is incredible

58% agree with him in the poll at the end too.

The most amazing thing is that some sports editor would have had to have approved it before sending it for publication. Absolutely mental.

The Mirror’s been circling the drain for years now so I imagine it’s just a quick clickbait article that a sub-editor cobbled together from previous Cwoss arse-paper.

It gets chucked on to Cwoss’s desk, the sub asks:

“Is this OK, John?”

Cwoss, not bothering to look up and read it as his mouth is full of Arsene’s cock, mumbles:

“Yeah – that’ll do.”

This thread is from 17 November 2011.
How much ££££££ has he earned (loosely) in these years?
Perhaps someone should ask him where he would be best utilised.
I'm guessing it would be as dog food.
