WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

How much ££££££ has he earned (loosely) in these years?
Perhaps someone should ask him where he would be best utilised.
I'm guessing it would be as dog food.

Paid? Millions.

Earned? Thousands.

I used to think he was a decent player, but his 'efforts' this season have been one long piss-take.

Charlie nick has written on sky website today that Arsenal would be mad to get rid of wally and reckons that all the other top clubs would be interested if he was for sale :coffeespit: :coffeespit:

Le tiss, in fairness, says that wally shouldn't go to a top club cos he needs to go somewhere where he is getting regular game time - of course the implication is that wally isn't good enough for the top clubs :high5:

A quote from Wenger in that John Cross article.

"The next four or five years will be absolutely decisive for him because that’s where you make your career, between 26 and 31, 32. That’s where a good player becomes a great player or just remains a good player.”

Nice for wally if he became a good player first.

Can't be arsed to trawl through the match thread but did you see Walcott's attempt at the loose ball after Mannone's header cock up? If ever a player bottled out of a 50/50 challenge even when there's an almost certain goal available then this was it. Shameful

its been an odd season for a lot of our players, but in particular Walcott.

I actually thought that he did ok earlier this season, then of course he had his usual injury

BUT since he came back from that injury he has been unbelievably bad.
I mean what has he actually done??

and how many years are we still stuck with him because nobody is going to be stupid enough to buy him, he is now so bad.

It would be a shock if Wally goes to the euros after his form for the past few months.
Dross Townsend is probably more deserving of a place than our little bottler, that in itself is embarassing.

Here it is for us to enjoy over and over:

I posted it in the Sunderland thread yesterday but probably belongs on here for permanent viewing. It was an even bigger highlight than his dazzling midfield wizardry against Palace last week.

And it wouldn't be complete without the words under the caption in the John Cross article posted above:

''Success story: Theo Walcott has been brilliant for Arsenal since joining 10 years ago'' :D

Feel sorry for Joel Campbell who can't get a look in before this turd. Would love to hear Wenger's justification why he is playing Walcott over him.

as said on here by many before, the man is the perfect reflection of modern arsenal.

guttless, weak, happy with himself even when he has been shite, always talking himself up etc. i've never actually hated an afc player like him before, even gus fucking caeser. the man offers us nothing, he doesn't even have the bottle to try and take players on any more, if he doesn't use his pace he does nothing.

what better to feed his ego than offer him another fucking scandalous huge bumper contract, and for roy "i look like a fucking constipated, boss eyed owl" hodgson picking him for his shitty little england side for the euros next season. fucking fuck :banghead:

Absolutely. I gave Campbell a lot of stick when he first turned out for us but to be fair he has put in consistently decent performances for us this year and is a real pain in the arse for defenders. Plus bringing him off the bench changes the tempo and helps create space for other players as he is happy to get it and drive inside. Unlike Walcott who hangs around on the periphery making no impact.
