It all sounds like waffle to me. This is spin, world class, almost bigger than political heavyweights, spin. It is so far from the issues that concern us it is almost incomprehensible.

If I was sitting there as a journalist I would be tempted to ask WTF are you talking about???

well the match is now officially sold out according to Arsenal.com.

this is the problem, once it goes to general sale tickets get snapped up.
that's why I have come to the conclusion in recent weeks that a walk out or a boycott will not work.

more effective tonight will be any display of a banner or Wenger out chants heard all around the stadium

Tonight could be a seminal moment in the quest to oust the Turnip so fingers crossed there's a mass exodus and nobody is left in any doubt about fan feeling towards the "manager". If you've got people not even bothering to go because of him and people walking out of the ground during a game because of him then the elephant in the room has to be addressed from on high. If tonight goes as I pray it does it will not go unnoticed.

Hopefully this evening the rodders homestead will see celebrations that will eclipse any party thrown on VT winning days, if this goes to plan the bubble bath will be out and I'll be lighting the scented candles at around 9:15 tonight :barscarf:

AU REVOIR PRICK
Good i am upbeat about this too......once the fans turn just a matter of time no going back.....maybe even Ty will see the light one day :D

My suggestion (for what its worth at this late hour) is to celebrate any goals with total indifference, as you would if WBA scored.
Wouldnt be the first time for me personally to act nonchalent when Arsenal score, I recall going for a mid week cup game at the old Den, and the only ticket I could get was in the home end with a couple of Millwall supporting friends.
But wouldnt that be a strange experience, the team in a huddle, and all you can hear is a few slaps on the back and Wenger clapping. Okay I am exagerating, the directors area will politely applaud too.
Even better, if and when we score do a 'silent Poznan' and slowly turn your back to the pitch.
That is something the press are more likely to jump on than rows of empty (and emptier) seats.

I'd have preferred the walkout to be 70 over 75, given that the Tarquins fuck off early, but I'll be interested to see if it actually happens. There was supposed to be a protest before the Manure game and that never happened (Of course, the team then typically put in our best performance in months/years) 70 would have co-incided nicely with our pre-arranged substitutions too (Giroud, Ramsey, Walcott - or Welbeck, Iwobi, Elneny).

It seems very difficult to co-ordinate any kind of protest inside Cashburton, yet that's where we need protests to be. Every game. TOF must be hounded out.

Do you actually believe it though? They have been getting loads of bad press and as we know, they tell lies.

What is worth more, a few empty seats in the short term, or showing this as a sell out and say that all of the seats were paid for later? Even with those seats unsold, they still will be empty in the bowl (and on the screen), but it isn't as though one could question the official numbers (like most do every game).

The vast majority of those seats available were through the exchange, but if their ticket remained unsold those ST holders will not get a credit for the ticket at renewal time.
So its not unreasonable to imagine they would then actually attend rather than pay for something they are not using.

I pray to god that there is a serious protest/walkout tonight - I'm not convinced that it will happen, but I sooooo want it to happen. If it doesn't happen tonight, after all the publicity the walkout has received, I would worry about the commitment/credibility for future protests

would take a defeat and a chorus of boos and walking out at 70 minutes above a 5-0 win, without hesitation. enough of this papering over the cracks, let the fucking thing die and have a chance to be reborn. this club has gone completely stale

Agree on all points. I really want to see something happen but I just cant see it materialising. Not with the Emirates crowd.

I do believe fans can have an influence on who owns and manages their clubs ... but what worries me is that if Arsenal still had the type of supporters capable of getting Wenger out and forcing change ... then things would never have got this far or dragged on this long in the first place.

The very fact that Wenger still here in 2016 when he should have been forced out years ago suggests to me that as a fanbase we do not have what it takes. And that we have left it too late anyway ... the damage is already done.

That said I will be deliriously fucking happy if I am proved wrong and Wenger is hounded out. It is no less than that odious cuunt deserves and it will restore my faith in Arsenal's fans.
