THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yeah nothing to say when at the start of the second half Sunderland are tearing in to us...wanker just sits there on his hands.... :banghead: :banghead:

talks about everything else ...Other referees, Brexit.....what the weather will be like...he is a deluded wanker and a fraud
but aint got a clue about man management, TACTICS, motivational coaching.....

His idea is if they play shit in a big game...give them the next day off.....cannot make this shit up...and £8million a fucking year

So the Specialist in Failure has said it's a 'worry' that we may not finish in the top 4 this year. To be expected really - lowering expectations even further (as if that were possible) so he can somehow spin in as success when we beat a dogshite, already-relegated Villa team on the final day. The pundits will no doubt come out with more 'greatest ever achievement' B.S and ask "whoever doubted him!?" :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Ah, that day. Up there with Anfield in 89, Old Toilet in 02 and the Swap in 04.

I've always thought they look less like they're in a professional football dressing room and more like a local swimming baths shared changing area.

If the whining crunt comes on the radio I have turn it off or to another station...I just cannot bear to hear his voice anymore - I just know he's going to come out with the same old lame, redundant excuses and platitudes - all of which have no meaning, no relevance and no place in"Reality".

"We care about that and we worry about it as well because it's a fight," said Wenger of their top-four ambitions.

Who exactly is "we"?? I presume you mean yourself, Kroenke and the board... because the players play like they couldn't care less and I can promise you we sure as hell don't care. In fact I hope & pray we don't make it, at least that will shut you up about that shameful record you tout as success.

hope to see some mock top 4 celebratory banners on VT day at home to villa. perhaps a chant of "and now you're gonna believe us, we're gonna finish fourth" with a tin foil 4 trophy being held aloft by someone.

or we could just filter out the ground quietly as per usual, but it's an idea 8)

Monreal reminds me of Jay in The Inbetweeners. The lad who also played the young Del Boy

And that remains one of the most cringeworthy pictures in Arsenal's history along with the dressing selfie after we rocked Leicester's title bid at the Emirates with a late winner:

I sincerely hope that the next time Wenger drops the hint that other clubs not taking points off Leicester is the reason we couldnt keep up with them, he is reminded other clubs were also not as generous handing out points to relegation strugglers.

I seriously fucking want us to miss out on top 4 to scrap his stupid meaningless record!

There's a real chance actually with us still to go to City away.

Lose that and Man U just have to win all their games .... of course they do have Leicester next week.

From title contenders to scrapping for top 4. It reminds of that year a few years back when we were in a two horse race - and finished 4th. You couldn't make it up. Different squad, same manager, same doo doo.

And that's the conundrum... I want Man.U to overtake us but I don't want Spurs to win the league :?

Be great if spurs drop points tonight then Leicester could afford to lose to Man.U... problem is if we could put 2 past WB, spuds will probably do SIX!!

The sickening thing is our titanic battle for 4th will probably come down to the AV game... a 2-0 victory and cue the selfies, back slapping, another fantastic achievement, time to re group, take a well deserved break,strengthen.... then decide we don't really need to strengthen, come back stronger (only seemingly, injured players all back, not actually stronger, just momentarily bigger) for a real assault on the title... rinse, repeat, rinse zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and another year of misery (surely the last one)

Yep, this season we've managed to scrape fourth in a zero horse race!
