Giroud doesn't deserve the abuse he gets. He really doesn't. The bloke has contributed (carried) our forward line for years, on his own, and has played Far above himself. Now he is fucked after being flogged for years, he is very limited but the bloke try's for the Arsenal.

LOL. The definition of Giroud "carrying" the Arsenal forward line on his own for years:

1. Over 1,100 minutes without a league goal back end of 2014/15

2. Bettered that record by going over 1,300 minutes without a goal this season

3. Has managed less CL goals in the past 3 years than Lewandowski managed in half a campaign with Dortmund

4. Eliminated us against Monaco through sheer ineptitude

5. Has managed a pitiful 53 goals in 4 years as Arsenal's undisputed number 9. That's a rough count of about 13 a year.

as much as I don't like the fucker, he's spot on about giroud. the only reason he has been "carrying us" up front is because of the braindead way wenger sets us up to play, we have all the ingredients in midfield, but a blunt spoon up front. giroud has been an unmitigated disaster for us, make no mistake and while some say he works hard for the team, i've never seen a player so often give up on a lose ball, not make an onbvious run, or win a header.

the man is a big target man, nothing more, but he so often does fuck all in the air to win a header, while some might draw a parallel between him and lukaku (who has been maligned by arsenal fans after his performance v man utd) lukaku is younger, scores loads more goals in a similar system with lesser players behind him, and actually dominates players in the air. yet some would have you believe lukaku isn't even that good. maybe not, but ask yourself if lukaku isn't good, what the fuck does that make soft as shite giroud?

he wasn't the only reason we drew yesterday, but he was fucking pathetic, even by his own standards. the man can't turn a defender to save his life, yet spends the whole game with his back to goal. blame the system as much as you like, but surely giroud is expected to try and turn and go for goal at least once per game.
