Arsenal in for Kante

Kante has been excellent BUT anybody who thinks that signing a DM is a magic solution lacks perspective.

We desperately need a quality DM but let's be honest we haven't defended properly since we moved from Highbury. A DM isn't going to stop us being exploited down the flanks when our full backs bomb forward recklessly, a DM isn't going to organise the whole team at set pieces, a DM isn't going to stop Ramsey giving the ball away for fun and a DM isn't going to stop our centre backs turning their backs on balls.

Reality is there is no defensive culture at our club. No amount of talented individuals will change that.

Why should/would Kante (Player of the Season for me) join a club who has finished below them with a manager who doesn't practise defending nor doe she 'do' Tactics...Unlike the manager (and team) who have Won The Prem Title this season?? :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin:

If he joins us he won't be half the player he's been at Leicester.

Having learned of Kante's 19 mil buyout clause, AW is preparing a 7 mill offer.

Yeah... funny how clichey left for man city and sudden re-discovered how to cross a ball perfectly well into the penalty area...I'm sure there are many more similar stats/facts/occurrences...
