VILLA HOME THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

15-0 to Arsenal...

Mental. But very very probable. There are people that will tell you "Theo has so much potential" and that "he makes the right runs" - both absolute bollocks of course.

Same as the bollocks that "giroud wins a lot of aerial battles"

Theo has a lot of potential and makes the right runs and Giroud wins a lot of aerial battles...........

Should be an easy home win as these lot are an absolute shambles. Would be great if the Toon also manage to beat the scum. Firstly we'd sneak second spot and secondly Itchybaba will be distraught!

So there's a very real possibility we can now finish above the vermin. I'll want to join in celebrating this...we've had fuck all else to cheer about this season and it's always funny to piss the scum off...but I know this will just add fuel to the akbs arguments, dampen any dissent and, as somebody else said, it'll make us look spoilt.

So basically a lose lose situation.

The part that makes me laugh is, when the players are doing their lap of appreciation at the end, the fans will only stay if we win. This whole season has been a shambles, and none of these players deserve any appreciation, but the fans will be happy to clap them off, once we beat the worse team in PL history. The amount of fans who base their opinion's on the club around individual games is frightening.

Its Wenger & the board that have caused this poor atmosphere at home games.
I too feel the same, but ultimately we are fans, and however shallow any win is, its worth celebrating.
Its why I began supporting Arsenal, and I will not let a bunch of blind Arsene supporters take that away from me.
Yes its our right to make our feelings known if we are not convinced by Arsenes methods, but not to the point of spoiling the whole reason you are there in the first place.
We just need patience, there are other wheels in motion, I have been talking all season of how long the ambitious players will take to see through our unambitious manager. Lets see him brush away the reasons why Ozil & Sanchez are becoming disenchanted.

I wouldn't take it for granted that we'll beat Villa as we're notorious for giving points to teams that haven't had a win for ages.

We have been kick starting seasons and ending goal droughts for out of form players for years now.

There was a time that if a team was on a bad run the last team they'd want to play was us. Now because of the attitude that our players have when these type of teams roll up (ie this lot are shite it'll be an easy win) we get complacent and have "an accident" under "special circumstances overall" because we played a little with the "handbrake" on

As flash would say we will win and all will be rosy in the Wenger garden.

Fire up the BBQ and make room in the trophy cabinet for another top 4 trophy. Is this gonna be 19 consecutive seasons in CL of learning absolutely nothing from previous years. Selfie central and giant pats on the back for achieving what was the target at the start of the season.

Wenger will probably experiment with the team on Sunday, now top 4 is secured.
Every player in their natural position and make substitutions before the 65th minute.
