THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Agreed mate. I was thinking the same thing.

And we don't even know if it's their banner as it's common for people in rows further back to come down and stick a flag or banner over the hoardings.

Having said that - they are a cracking pair of barnets. Elegantly coiffured I would describe them as.

5th most valuable club on the planet (in line with recent years).

Still, let's be grateful that we are feeding off scraps, out of the title race long before the business end of the season rolls around and finish 10-15 points off the leaders every season.

If it wasn't for Wenger there is no manager who we could attract who could match (or God forbid better) that. Just like there was obviously no outfield player in world football who we could feasibly have signed who could possibly have improved our squad last season.

Me too.

If Kim Jong Wanker signs, or even gets offered, a contract extension, my 38 year love affair with The Arsenal is over.

The thought of going into yet another new season with that arrogant has-been in charge would be so f***ing demoralising. Why would anyone pay north of £1,500 to watch Groundhog Day part 14????

The little c-unt will sign the deal behind closed doors, and the club will announce it on twitter at 1 am in the morning.

Ive always said, if Wenger wants to sign a new deal, he shoudl be forced to walk into the middle of the pitch and sign it in front of the fans.

Great article by Henry Winter inside today with the headline, 'ARSENAL ARE INSANE TO EVEN CONSIDER GIVING WENGER A NEW DEAL'

Quite a few people saying he's actually already signed it and they're just waiting for the best time to announce it - probably during the Euros. :(
