Arsenal v Chavs Cup Final

Post by GranadaJoe »

Good luck to Arsenal Ladies (who didn't fuck up their cup matches) in their match against the Chavs (Russian money and all that).

I think it's a great achievement and I'm glad the powers that be have organised an early kick-off so they can get home and get the tea on without any pressure. They deserve it.

Look out for Leah Williamson, who's gorgeous and Jordan Nobbs, who's got a funny name.

Come on you Goooneeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to keep up with the ladies a few years back when my daughter played at a Centre of Excellence (we played against Arsenal every year) but not so much now. Even went to Borehamwood a few times (didn't see Sherwood though :D ) and daughter was a mascot at a match.

Big overhaul in the old guard, with some foreign talent coming in too, I think there is much more competition when players contracts come to an end to secure their services.

Went to 3 or 4 ladies cup finals and they won them all....

Good Luck ladies :barscarf:

Yes women's football is very bad but some fit girls. I'm very shocked to see the hot Emma burne has been replaced in goal by a minger. We should NOT sign mingers the whole point is to see fit totty. :barscarf:

You can all scoff and be as sexist as you want, but our women are playing more direct football than the men, ergo, as a football match it is more interesting to watch. We're the better team at the moment but a bit lucky with that off side call. Come on Arsenal. :barscarf: :barscarf:

I enjoy it due to the more direct nature and there is very little in the way of cheating, diving, feigning injury etc.

Strange to see Katie Chapman, Gemma Davison, Gilly Flahety, Casey Stoney playing against us !

Yay - we have 61% possession :barscarf:

She wouldn't be allowed, our men are not allowed to shoot like that.

Almost a recreation of Ramseys cup final winner from Girouds backheel -thwarted by a Katie Chapman tackle.

Our defence look ropey, being over run and outpaced down the left back position.
