As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Gazidis, speaking in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, said of Wenger: 'The reason we have Arsene as our manager is because our board believes he can deliver success.
'If either of us didn’t believe that we would not be constrained by nostalgia or longing; we would have to make a change. Arsene would understand and support that. But it’s just not how either side feels. We feel we are on a good path.'
Gazidis has admitted the club are starting to think about the club's long-term future due to Wenger's age as a succession plan needs to be in place.
He added: 'The reality is we wouldn’t leave things until the last minute. I’m comfortable both that if Arsene is going to extend we will know that and if, whenever that is, he is going to come to an end, that he will give us the time that we need to prepare for that transition.
If I was sitting there I would have said WHEN?? What do you mean..... WHEN, I want to know WHEN he will deliver success... next season, the one after, 5 years time, 10 years......WHEN????
Why are these pricks allowed these fucking cosy little back slapping, love ins with nobody asking the hard questions. I'm so sick of it.
Gazidis actually also said that Wengers future is in his own hands... so basically he'll never be fired. Gazidis' idea of success is how much money Wenger makes them, when he talks of success he's talking of financials.

Money is the only thing Arsenal thinks about now, that's why top four is a must and seen as success. He must have thick skin and big balls to carry on with the amount of unrest it's creating.

I will judge him in May 2020
I can't find that announcement, where's it been published?
On leftfootlegend.com
That is NOT funny ya bellend.
The present Arsenal remind me of the recently changed Fifa - Wenger = Blatta (Gazidis his right hand man - literally )
They do whatever the f**k they want and are a law unto themselves - Lining their own slimey pockets with moeny they have not earned and do not deserve.

They seem genuinely brainwashed to believe that TOF will ever win another league title.
Any hope that Gazidis and TOF don't get on, is negated with Gazidis coming out with PR guff like this, as always.
I hope that protests continue next season (whilst we 'enjoy' the same slow sideways crap with an ever-present Giroud missing from six yards)
Yeah, and apparently everything is great because we've signed yet another fucking midfielder, no striker and no decent centre-back. I don't know why they don't just give us the league title now.

Stop being greedy, only one player per transfer window.
At the moment it seems likely that koeman is heading to everton from southampton - I could be wrong of course, but I cant help feeling that we have missed a chance there and he is another of the potential successor candidates to be snapped up by someone else. Of course in a lot of ways it is easier to be viewed as doing well at smaller clubs because the expectations vary greatly, but as a player he has top level experience and I feel that he has done enough to get a shot at managing a big club now
On a different story, I see it also seems that blanc could be heading out the door at psg - I remember a few years ago it was stated that wenger was buddies with the guys that bought psg and he helped the takeover go through

Money, money, money! That'd be about right for our Socialist multi-millionaire manager! An Indonesian has taken over Inter Milan, is anyone else just getting sick of the money in sport and football in general? It's relentless! It's really putting me off sport.
I've been watching wenker and recently he's started to look and act like my recently deceased poor mother in law , the dull lifeless eyes , vacant expression stairing into space , tumbling with stitching on his tea cosy , unable to no longer draw his jacket zip
The signs are all there ......
