Boris is popular because he's a bungling idiot. He's made more gaff's than Arsenal's back four over the last decade.northbank123 wrote:Fair point Nut Flush - if Remain wins then the fall-out of this referendum will die down long before the next election.
Interesting to see what the impact on Boris of this referendum is. He is an immensely popular bloke as served by a 13% swing (as I recall) between votes for the Conservatives in the previous Assembly elections and local council elections in London on the same day.
BUT some of the stuff he has come out with in the campaigning is borderline, especially what he said about President Obama. I want the next prime minister to be more of a statesman than a showman. A nice version of Donald Trump pretty much sums it up.

I'm looking forward to the day that Boris and Donald are PM and President. It'll be like watching Beavis and Butthead again.

I did save a young sparrow this morning, the missus came into the house upset and in tears (no, not because I still live there ) at 7am with the bird after it had tried flying the nest but only managed to land on our hot tub and our cat was stood over it.casgooner wrote:You're a bloody racist, sexist pig.LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:You're not in the clique darling, we're like Muirfield Golf Course, No Womencasgooner wrote:I get branded a racist for less than that!!LeftfootlegendGooner wrote:Yep still 100% out, hopefully once we've exited we can ban some of these tarmac layers, sorry leprechauns
These sparrows have nested in a gap in our tiles for years and I don't repair it so they can use it, so I got the triple extension ladders out and climbed up the roof and let it go about a foot away and it raced into the nest with its siblings, so I do have a heart, honest

I'm surprised at how well Maggie fills that top out
On my travels around the borough, I notice a few home owners are 'Remainians'. It seems the upper class have been swayed by the politician vermin.
I am still 100% OUT, by the way

So are you saying that Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson (Eton and Oxford), isn't upper class?Sean wrote:
