Even by friendly standards, this engerland v Portugal game is shit No tempo, no atmosphere and if you walked in now and were told that there was a man sent off, you would think that it was engerland that were down to 10 men.

Watched the highlights and even that was boring. The way this game was spun as England prep for Wales match was a joke. As it turns out this was the perfect match to see how England would react against a team that have gone down to 10 men. The answer wasn't as conclusive as you may think. Subs worked well. A win is a win.

I didn't see it but it must have been a bad tackle by alves - I have just seen a close up of kane and his face looks all distorted
