As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Excellent point

Looking to the heavens and sticking his tongue out, perhaps?
Although...

All of a sudden Arsenal and Wenger look like they are changing strategy in the transfer market, and they are being criticised. If we successfully pull off a double deal if Vardy and Mahrez then that's exactly what we want isn't it??
Adopting the transfer policy of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona and the two Manchester clubs isn't a bad thing. If you can't beat them, join them.

If that really happens I'll agree with you 100%. However, can't help it but I'm bit sceptical as we have years of evidence of fucking around. I will believe when I see it happen with my own eyes.
If he does pull off the Vardy, Mahrez combo he can flog off Walcott & Ox (plus a host of others) and buy a decent, experienced CH to play alongside Kos. Somebody who will hopefully cover for & improve the seemingly error prone & at times hapless Gabriel. If we get Vardy & Mahrez for 50 odd Mil, plus 30 for Xhaka means we can get a CH for another 30 odd, offload the plethora of deadwood for around 30mil, meaning we have done everything we needed to for around 70 - 80 mil.
The irony is if he actually does go ahead and do it and we have success next season Wenger will get all the credit. The credit should really go to those who have kicked off and refused to put up with his shit for any longer. You watch the idiot AKB's shoving it in our faces, too stupid to realise that without the banners & the protests, Wenger would have sailed serenely on......

1,000% Right.
Still you know AKB's just like their Holier than thou messiah - They will revel in it and claim it was because they (silently) stood by him - and supported the club every inch of the way by spending a fortune in the Armoury - and paying outlandish prices for watered down pisss masquerading as beer and of course let's not forget the fish & chips at nearly a tenner!
Wenger & co have 'Panicked' the last time I can recall him acting / buying a decent player without (obvious) prompting & before all the other teams was when he brought in Reyes...Though I'm sure someone will correct me on that..

Im a bit sceptical and doubt either will want to move. Playing in front of 60,000 and the prestige of playing for The Arsenal would be the only pull. Oh yeah...and London.
It could be cynically argued that signing Vardy would be less about building an Arsenal team than wrecking a successful Leicester one hoping to keep them out of the Top 4.
Wilson wrote:We actually have a top sqaud, especially with the addition of Xhaka and likely signing of Vardy.
If Wenger fails to compete as a bare minimum, I fail to comprehended any argument to extend his contract.
We need to strengthen at the back as well. It's no good signing people who can actually score goals if we continue to comically concede them. This is not being greedy, it's not something new, we have needed for years now... a top striker, a world class holding/defensive midfielder and a "take no shit" CH. The Mertersacker, Gabriel, Kos triumverate is not going to cut it. Get a Keown or Adams in there and Per would be playing in the Capital One Cup and that would be about it for him.
Kos with somebody really good would probably hold his own, Gabriel might also be pulled up & along. Per, however, is done.
Jamie Vardy is keeping Arsenal and Leicester City waiting as he continues to ponder his club future.
The England striker, 29, was due to choose whether to remain with the Foxes or join the Gunners before flying out to France for Euro 2016 on Monday.
But he boarded the flight with the rest of the England squad without informing Arsenal what he intended to do, as requested by the London club.
Tell him to fuck off then. Where else is he gonna go.... Pep won't want him, neither will Mourinho and Spurs have Kane.... It's us, Leicester or bust, so make up your mind. I couldn't care either way as I don't particularly like him. What I don't want is us chasing after him throughout the entire transfer window... and then he says no.
That new missus of his might just want to move to London, she looks like a right party girl. Maybe Wenger should be speaking to her.
