The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he does, he's a sly fucker. I would still have him in a heart beat along with Mahrez. A front line of Mahrez, Vardy and Sanchez looks tasty.

Have to say that unless sanchez and/or ozil leaves us this summer, I would be totally 100% against us signing mahrez - signiing mahrez would, in my opinion, be like buying the icing for the cake before you have a decent cake to put the icing on  We have needs at centre back, striker, left back (and keeper if ospina goes) and they are far higher priorities than buying another small flair player

And if it is then I will laugh - we will have gone from being unable to keep our top players like cesc and rvp, to being unable to convince players from Leicester city to join us
It will be funny watching the akb trying to twist this story after their claims that top players join us to play for wenger

I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed at leicester as he would be settled there and if there is no significant pay rise then why not stay, lots of good players stayed at lesser clubs because of loyalty, stability etc, Le Tis at saints, shearer turned down manu for newcastle, I admire players that don't jump ship when a big team come knocking.

I think it would be great if we signed Mahrez, someone who actually DOES play wide! If nothing else it will stop the Dick-tater from playing Rambo/Wilshere or Giroud out wide!! :barscarf:

What i find amazing is the fact that he's actually thinking about it, at least £40K a week pay rise......he should be walking barefoot from Leicester to join the Arsenal

Fuck me we have sunk low in the ratings if we are compared with Leicester, :banghead:

maybe strange but if the player did not show desire to join that would be the end of it.......

If we don't get Vardy it will show how far we have fallen and don't expect Cavani , Morata etc to end up here , there are lots of other teams with more ambition than us. We will not sign a forward that you have heard off in this close season.

Now if we had been after Koeman i would have been excited.

He must have weighed up whether or not he would leave Leicester if the offer came from a bigger club.

That said he probably wasn't expecting to have his hand forced so soon and to have all other options effectively taken off the table.
