John Jensen - your memories

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I wasnt there for his goal either was oop norf at a girlfieends parents for the new year holidays.
At first people were dissapointed in "Faxe" because they expected a creative playmaker whereas for Denmark he was there to mark people out of the game and to go get the ball.
After he got the ball he would just slip it to a laudrup type and they would do the rest .
I remeber him getting the ball after a tackle once and he immediately looked for some one to pass to short but the rest of the team sprinted up field.
He looked lost running with the ball !
Once wwe realised his strength and weaknesses he could be very effective , I liked him !

I have posted onm here b4 the story of the Cup winners Cup final with him on crutches in a club called Exalon/Absalon havent I ???? Its a fucking classic .

Vi er rode vi hvide !

I have no real memories of Jensen other than he wore Frankenstein boots when he played. He was more effective in Europe than the league.
I missed his only goal for us.
