I'm over here now, was at Ireland Sweden, 2 poor limited championship sides but Ireland shaded it for me. fans crazy but no trouble.

was in lille yesterday all day no alcohol ban at all and little trouble. 2 tiny skirmishes.

was at game today and no trouble there very calm between Slovaks and ruskies. must say lille new ground is nice and the surrounds very well planned. Lots of spare seats.

lille tonight has been mostly fine. i missed the supposed station confrintation. again alcohol was being served by most places up until 8ish. the main square was shut down booze wise and big crowds of rowdy English and Welsh dispersed without major issue just the odd idiot facing up to police. i spoke to sky sports reporter off camera and they reckon all the Russian ultras fucked off and as vastly outnumbered by English and Welsh would have got a kicking had they not gone. English and Welsh getting lairy but not violent in a few bars led riot police to boot us out but nothing major and Slovaks and the few Russians still here just ordinary fans.

back at hotel but think it kicked off a bit after the france game as thousands left the fan park and watched scummy Albanians kicking parked cars as they went down Street from hotel window.

heard some bangs and England fans chanting but again it's mostly high spirits and np real trouble. the media are making a massive thing of nothing much in lille and are disappointed it seems that it hasn't kicked off....

police have been fair on the main unless u act like a *word censored* like some of the English and Welsh were earlier.

Reality check is that it will be a big shock of Wales get anything out of today. Wales have been superb this qualifying campaign but they are a limited side - Hal Robson-Kanu is an integral part of the team as the bloke can't even find a club! Wales have improved immeasurably in the last two years but they've only got near taking anything off England once in the last four games.

If England go 1-0 up in the first half it will be game over. Wales' entire game is predicated upon keeping a clean sheet and backing themselves to create enough on the counter to score a goal or two.

The only criticism of the qualifying campaign for me was that when Wales went behind in Andorra and Bosnia they had no idea what to do and were woeful both games. Had Ben Davies not cleared that shot off the line in the third minute they would have lost to a frankly better Slovakia side. If they go behind then England will start stroking the ball around and be too much for Wales.

That said there is a massive amount of pressure on England and let's be honest they're hardly famed for coping with that well at major tournaments. A draw isn't any good for England really because (aside from anything else) it means that they will have to beat Slovakia in their last game to go through.

Will be gutted if Wales lose as I think they probably will, but it's a bit of a freebie for them as a point against Russia will probably be enough even if they lose.

Anyway half day then out getting smashed as I am sure is the same for many here!
