As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Could Lukaku be any more shit? Vokes came on and showed him how to put your head on a ball.
yes as stated before we don't want Lukaku...yes he has the strength and some skill but his movement is similar to Giroud looks lazy at times
Drifts in and out when interested...dont sign this guy not good enough
Lets pay him 10x more than all the other managers and because he's done a reasonable job with the US national team, cross our fingers and hope he can shit the miracles that the last 3 managers haven't managed !
I said at the time that Sven was the best manager England had since Venables......those 3 consecutive QFs where we only lost to Brazil and Portugal (twice on pens) not looking so bad now against McClaren, Capello and Woy's records eh ?

So are you American ?
Baltimore is a suburb of North London don't you know . It's only taken the yanks 100 plus years to figure out association football is the real game, rather than their watered down version of Rugby.
Then they try and banter about England's football failure on the world stage. We look forward to welcoming the football tourists to the Emirates next season.

I don't buy all this position bollocks any more, he has the ability to play in the centre or out wide.
Fair play to Wales though, they thoroughly deserve to be in the semi's. They shouldn't fear Portugal even without Ramsey.
Not unusual for my opinion to differ from everyone else's, but I honestly don't think that he has played brilliantly for wales at all, in the same way I don't think monkey boy has been outstanding either. Yes he has great spells during the games but he certainly hasn't turned in a great 90 minutes yet, and I still will argue that ben davies, joe allen and Ashley Williams have been the outstanding players for wales

now now, usa finished fourth in the copa america, which if I'm not mistaken means they are the virtual champions

Depends how you look at it I guess, all of those players have been immense and you need that stability to allow the creative players to shine. BUT, good players don't always shine for 90 mins sometimes they turn up once in 90 minutes with a moment of quality and it's decisive. Ramsey has provided several moments of quality in each match.
I mean how many times have you seen Ramsey on the right for Arsenal, get anywhere near the by line and put in a cross that allows the striker to take out 3 defenders (allbeit with world class quality). How many times have you seen Ramsey commit into the tackle like he did last night. I would say with the exception of 3/4 of a season not very often.
I fucking told you lot the game was about to eat itself and you scoffed!! You fucking scoffed. But when it's a Wales v Iceland final you'll finally see the light.
30 million for Troy Deeney, 40 million for Ighalo.....yep that's 70 fucking million to sign the Watford strike force folks. Fat boy Hulk off to China for another 40 million.

Can imagine what wenker would be saying now if he was ingerland manager "we did our bit we beat Wales its everyone else's fault we didn't win it"
Apart from that well done Wales hope they beat those cheating Portuguese fuckers

Would add Robson - Kanu to that list as well he has chased every last cause...and that goal will be remembered for a long time
Really enjoyed watching their matches...hear what you are saying about Bale, but he carries an enormous threat, runs at defences strong in the air and not too shabby at free kicks, he is top quality
Shame that when there was 2 promising youngsters available at Southampton we picked Wally
Ramsey has done a good job for the welsh. He has done exactly what to do and followed his instructions.I do not think he has even done one of his silly backheels which inevitably leads to loss of possession. It is annoying watching him play to script for wales and not for us.
