Is that the same Iceland that super quality PL strikers like Vardy, Sturridge and Kane couldn't score against...? The same Iceland that "world class media darlings" like Deli Sandwich and Granny Shagger could not out-pass or out-think? That Iceland?
Just checking.
Yes mate, same Iceland. Are you on your period or too many Culchie cocks?
Get the whiff of a rumour that the terror of defences from Aston Villa to Iceland, via Ireland may be pulling a sickie for the Germany game. Keeps his transparent reputation intact for a few more days.

Odds on the ear cupper will bag a goal or a brace tonight and ensure Wenger has his excuses all lined up for not buying the much needed striker we have needed since VanJudas jumped ship to the mancscum.

Just know its going to happen...another way out for Wenger
GIroud is the only first choice strinker since probably the 1970's, to have never scored 20 goals in the league. Adebayor, RVP, Henry, Wright, Alan Smith - they all did it. Who knows, the players before Alan Smith could have also scored over 20 league goals. I havent checked.
There really is no worlds to describe Wenger potential offering Giroud a 5th year as striker. There is a difference between showing faith and support, and being ignorant to a players limitations.
Amazed if Puma keep him in a boot contract, unless those they supplied him last night had heavy weights attached to them.
Any defender bar Mertesacker would probably fancy catching him in a foot race.

Agreed 100% mate. I'm all for having faith and belief in a player and letting that player see that. But at some point you have to say no, he is not the one and you have to move on. We saw the same shit from Wenger persisting far too long with the likes of Song, Denilson, Almunia, Flappy, Hleb, Vela, Gibbs, Bendtner, Walcott, etc etc etc...
16, 14 and 16. Not exactly far off 20 though is it. Unless you sign someone really fucking good i'm not sure it's worth removing what Giroud does bring to the side.
You don't win PL titles with lone strikers scoring around 15 goals. End of.
Any side who has challenged for the league in the last few years has had a deadly striker banging in goals for fun - van Persie, Aguero, Costa, Kane, Vardy, Suarez.
Giroud was utter garbage again yesterday in a side who were rampant for most of the game. Still, he won a few headers this tournament and looked pretty decent against Iceland so who knows, maybe he will come back next season a clinical finisher, run like he doesn't have lead in his boots and have dropped the stinking arrogant attitude.

Rubbish against Germany and rubbish against Portugal. Even Giroud mark II managed to fashion himself a decent opportunity. Half the time he just doesn't seem to be in the right position or coming on to the ball to have maximum effect.
